The Planet That Should Never Be Apart...

~ Chapter 8 ~

Peter arrived at home greeting his Aunt May. He went to his room, dropped all his belongings on the floor and layed on his bed. He still had his music playing through his ears until his best friend walked into his room. Peter sat up and took the music out of his ears.
"Hey Peter, why you looking so down lately?"
"Down? What do you mean?"
"Peter, you have become more awkward as usual and you have been sort of blanking me"
"No Ned it's not that"
"Look if you don't want me as your frie-"
"Ned! No! Of course I want you as my friend, more than anything!"
"Then why avoid so much!"
"Its just th-that, you know, I have this feeling"
"What feeling?"
"......."
"Peter, tell me"
"I think I've fallen in love with someone"
"Yeah I know, it's Liz"
"N-no"
"No?! What do you mean No?"
"It's someone else"
"Who Peter?"
"Uhhh"
"Peter, you can tell me?
"I think it's Michelle"
"M-michelle!?"
"I know I know! I didn't even think that myself!"
"Dude, Liz or Michelle?"
"Ned! Why would you ask that?!"
"I dunno, it's so weird! First you didn't really like MJ and now you do! I mean wh-"
"Dude, I'm sure it will be okay". There was a long, silence pause until his friend broke it.
"So.... you going to tell Michelle you're Spider Man?"
"Maybe.... actually, I'm might tell her tomorrow"
"Ok but do something that will convince her though"
"Yeah don't worry, I will"

It soon became the night sky and Peter was laying down on his bed, staring at the blank ceiling above him. He was trying to find out many ways he could tell Michelle he was Spider Man but there was one special way of telling her. All he has to do is perform that action.

The next day followed straight after the night sky. Peter was getting ready and he made sure he had his suit in his bag. He arrived to school and tried looking for Michelle. Liz was just about to approach him but he ran straight passed her, trying to look for Michelle. Liz had the most confused expression smacked across her face. Wouldn't he stop in his tracks just to look at her face for one second?

Peter saw Michelle at the right time. He went up to her and lost his words just looking at her glistening eyes. Why was she so beautiful? That's all he could think.
"Peter!!!" Her voice awoke Peter up from his amazing daydream.
"Huh? Oh sorry, I was zoned out a little". She had the slightest smile across her face as she looked up at Peter.
"Ummm anyways I just wanted to ask if you could go somewhere with me at 7? When the sun sets?"
"May I ask why?"
"Uh it's just that I want to show you something"
"Is it a date Peter?"
"Uh.... no! At least I don't think it is"
"Ok whatever. Is it alright if you pick me up because my leg still hurts"
"Uh of course! Sure!" With that said, Peter turned his back and started walking away with the biggest smile across his face. Michelle did the same and she jumped up in excitement then noticing she was in pain straight after.
"Shouldn't have done that!" She whispered to herself, holding her leg.
