A figure in a black hoodie enters a room and sits in front of a blue computer screen. It whips out a translucent flash drive from somewhere in its left sleeve and plugs it into a port on the computer. A booting sequence starts and the monitor turns gray. Shortly after, white letters appear on the screen's surface.
W e l c o m e, G h o s t.
P l e a s e e n t e r p a s s w o r d . . .
The darkly clad figure stretches its fingers across the black keyboard and begins typing.

Ghost (Me): Hello again, all! Allow me to be the first to greet you to this new dimension! There will be few differences between this book and the last one. Save for the obvious plot [^] and a hopefully more polished appearance. This book may also be less silly/funny than the last one for the simple reason that I am different from then. I will probably still be pretty laughable (being the foolish nerd geek that I am), so maybe that will keep you entertained for the time being.
Syntax: Please, oh, please stop it with those overused icons and symbols. And do not dare write me with improper syntax, or I will find you. And once I find you, I will correct you. You have not the right to treat this language worse than it already has been. Also, I saw how you incorrectly placed forward slashes instead of backslashes on your preview cover for this book in your old one. Tsk, tsk.
Ghost: I take it you are a hardcore Windows user, then? I did a little research and found that Windows is pretty much alone in using backslashes in file paths. I'm personally accustomed to browser urls and thought the forward slashes looked more natural. Apparently, Mac and Linux share that opinion.
Syntax: Well, you are a Windows user as well...
Ghost: Yeah...well... I'm not that advanced yet when it comes to computers. I only have a little bit of C++, JavaScript, and Python figured out. I'm working on it.
Syntax: Hmph. Be sure that you do.
Ghost: Alright... So, once again, welcome everyone! Before I go, I will leave y'all with one quick announcement. I might eventually be in the game for interviewing you guys or inviting you as guest 'downloads' to the 'program'. Just a heads up for anyone that might be interested. Let's have fun!
