*-Rosalie's POV-*

I woke up in a very dark place. I was bound by silver chains around my neck, arms and legs. It burned and was probably gonna scar but meh.

One thing that worried me though was that I couldn't feel my wolf. 'Siria?' '...' There could be only one reason... Wolvesbane...

Oh goody, I'm in a creepy, unfamiliar place chained with silver and injected with wolvesbane. My life couldn't get any better. Note the sarcasm.

Click. I hear the sound of a lock turning and it seems I have a visitor. How nice '-'.

"I see you've woken up."the stranger said.
" Oh wow! You have eyes. What a surprise." To this I got a growl in return.

"Look here mutt, you are just a pathetic rogue so don't try to answer back. I would keep my mouth closed if I were you" I didn't reply.

"Now tell me who are you and what are you doing in the Blood Moon pack. Who sent you and don't you dare lie." He said angrily.

"I don't see any need to answer you." I threw back. He kicked me.. Hard.. but I'd been abused a lot so it didn't affect me. He started throwing punches at my gut and my breath got caught in my throat.

"Answer me!" he roared. I didn't reply. He grabbed my hair and pulled it. I was probably gonna go bald after this.

He started punching me until I spit blood.
"The alpha will be coming soon, he will get the answers from you." After saying this he left.

It hurt a lot and I would also heal at a slow rate due to the wolvesbane. I guess the only thing the moon goddess had to offer me was pain. I was hurt emotionally and physically.

Am I really so bad that no one likes me. That my parents hated me? That I couldn't live normally and had to be abused wherever I went? Couldn't I ever be free? And so after a long time I broke down and started crying about my life.

After a while, I fell asleep crying...

*-Xanox POV(alpha)-*

After a week at another pack I returned to my own pack. I immediately went to my office. My beta, Kyle was present there and I asked him to update me on what happened while I was gone.

"Alpha, nothing out of the usual happened while you were gone but a rouge was caught on our territory and she is in the dungeons right now."

This was infuriating. How dare that rouge trespass my property. "Take me to her right now Kyle." "Yes alpha."

I went to the dungeons and was hit by the most delicious smell ever although I couldn't quite put my finger on what it smelled like.

Kyle opened the cell and I saw a sleeping angel. She was seriously the most beautiful person I had ever seen in my life but then I saw the chains and her beaten up body.

Who dare do that to her. I growled loudly which caused her to wake up with a jump. She looked up and my breath was taken away.

'Mate' my wolf, Ryder yelled. Kyle went to her and slapped her for looking at me. I lunged forward at him and punched him.
"Mine!" I growled. How dare he touch MY mate.

*-Rosalies POV-*

I heard a loud growl and woke up startled. I looked up and saw the most handsome man alive. Our eyes connected and sparks ran through my body.

'Mate.' I thought but how could this be unless the moon goddess had given me a second chance but then I started having bad thoughts that what if he rejects me too.
I don't think I'll be able to take another rejection.

I was snapped out of my thoughts with a slap to my face. I don't even know why. Immediately, I heard a growl and my mate lunged at the person who slapped me and started throwing punches at him. "Mine!" he growled.

I was flabbergasted that he protected me but I had to stop him or else he'd kill the poor guy. "Stop!" I yelled and he instantly stopped.

He turned in my direction and came towards me. "I'm sorry for what my beta has done to you. I am going to get you out now."

He broke the chains with his bare hands and I just looked at him shocked. Couldn't he feel pain? For gods sake those chains were made of silver. How could he not have felt them.

He picked me up and carried me outside somewhere but I was too tired to see or say anything and his arms were too comfortable so I fell asleep.. again..
