|Deku's POV|
The world was dark. As it seemed to become lighter I felt like the deadly darkness was already back. There he was. My childhood friend, Kacchan, hanging.

"K-K-Kacchan?" I managed to mutter out. What the hell is happening?! This wasn't like Kacchan at all, he's strong, he wouldn't kill himself, right?! I ran over to his limp body, hugging it as tears spilt from my eyes.

"KACCHAN DON'T DIE!" I yelled. But I was to late. I was left there with my dead childhood friend, crying.

I opened my eyes, my cheeks where wet. Thank god it was a dream.

"Wait, shit I have school! What time is it?" I asked no one. I checked my phone.

"Crap! I'm late!" I started frantically getting ready. Then I looked over to my calendar, realizing today was Saturday April 20th. Wait, April 20th? Why does that date sound familiar?
"April 20th, April 20th, April 20th... " I trailed on. "Wait, that's Kacchan's birthday!" I said to no one but myself. Kacchan hasn't even talked about it at school, in grade school he would talk about it all the time making sure everyone knew about it. I don't know why but I decided I should get him something.

I got dressed for the day pulling a t-shirt over my head with the words "ALL MIGHT" in all caps on it. I put on some green shorts, and my red high tops. I went to the kitchen and saw my mom making breakfast for herself

"Oh! Hello Izuku! Want me to make some breakfast for you too?" She asked.

"Sure, thanks mom. I'm gonna go take a shower quickly. "

"OK, your food should be done when you get finished."She said as I left.

Once I finished I went to the kitchen, and my food was waiting for me. I ate, and in between bites I told my mom that I was going to go get a present for Kacchan.

"Really? It's Katsuki's birthday already? How old is he now?"

"He's turning 16 now." I informed.

"Wow, Katsuki's already 16. " My mom said. I finished my food, said goodbye to my mom and left.
