Y/N has always had trust issues. Simply put, she didn't and couldn't trust anyone. On a scale of 0-100%... she would only allow 10% of herself to trust someone.
This was because of her dad.
He was involved in many illegal businesses, including having huge cartels as his drug suppliers. Things went downward and he ended up failing to pay them, and now he's gone. Not dead, he just ran off, leaving his 18 year old daughter and her mother to the sharks.
"Dad, I don't think it's safe. And besides, why would you wanna spend money you don't have?" She said, slightly annoyed by her dad and his actions.
"Please sweetheart. It's just Miami, it's the least they'll expect, knowing I'm broke. I'll have my pilot friend fly you and your friends there for a few days, it'll be fun." His unattractively raspy voice boomed through the phone.
"All this doesn't make any sense. You ran away from us, we can't even sleep with both our eyes closed because of your friends. Just stop this illegal stuff, please!" Y/N silently sobbed.
"Relax, they're not after you, they're after me."
