Next morning... 🔅

It was a Saturday morning and Louis had his weekend soccer practice. Odell was going to fetch him and bring him over later in the day. Leaving none other than Terrel and Y/N to sort out their communication. He had calmed down from last night's dinner and actually spoke to his mother without the outbursts.

She was in the kitchen, whipping up some breakfast when Terrel came down in some running shorts and long tights underneath and a windbreaker.

"Morning, Ma." He said with a small smile, getting some water from the fridge.

"Hey baby, off for a jog?" She asked while putting some eggs onto the plates.

"Yeah, please keep mine covered," he replied, referring to the food.

"Alright. And what is up with this tights trend thing? I swear y'all are gonna give me grey hairs with all these weird styles."

"Ma, I can't go running without tights, my junk finna be all over the place-"

"Okay, okay. Too much info." Y/N slightly hit him with the dishcloth.

He chuckled, "And I just wanted to apologize for the way I acted yesterday. I just can't imagine y'all separated."

Y/N sighed, "He wants a divorce, you know that right?"

He pressed his lips together and looked away, "I figured."

Not knowing what else to say, Y/N decided to be nosy and ask about yesterday. "So... that lil girl you had in my car yesterday..." she asked slyly, making him roll his eyes.

Crazy how he didn't have to move his mouth much for his deep dimples to show. "Ahh, Ma..."

"Yeah, you blushing." Y/N smiled.

"You're surprisingly cool about this, and it's kinda weird..." he laughed a little.

"I just want you to be open with me, that's all," she shrugged. "You wrapped up right?"

"Ma!" He exclaimed, repeatedly shaking his head.

"What? You are your father's son. I had you at 19 so I don't want you making the same mistakes I made. I'm too young to be a grandma and judging by what you were doing in my brand new car! Boy-" she sassed.

"I don't know what you're implying but I've literally never seen the other gender naked in all my 19 years of life..." Terrel teased in between laughs.

"Yeah well that lil girl saw you-"

"You know what, I'm going for my jog now, this has been the weirdest 5 minutes of my life." He said as he headed out the door, making Y/N laugh a little.

In about 15 minutes, Terrel was back from his jog, and now indulging in his breakfast.

"Hurry up and take a shower so you can wash my car." Y/N said as she walked into the kitchen.

Terrel groaned, "I cleaned it yesterday though. Ma, come on."
