Recap.

"BABY?! Don't fucking call me that right now. You had the audacity to cancel on me, knowing good and well how much I wanted to come here so you could be with this dumb bitch? You can miss me with that." I calmly said as Dominique held me back.

"I'm sorry, y'all know each other?" Alison asked, sounding confused as hell.

"Do we know each other... he's my man. Do you know you've been walking around with another woman's man? You know what, I don't have time for this. I could care less right now," I said as the tears continuously streamed down my face.

"Actually, you know what Alison, keep him, cause I don't want him anymore." I quickly walked out to Dominique's car as she followed behind me.

"Yeah I knew yo skinny ass was trash anyway..." she looked August up and down before walking out.

Y/N POV

"Y/N, please open for me. I just wanna talk." Dominique said on the other side of the door.

I had locked myself up in her guest room cause I had no intentions in going back home. The man I loved so much, had caused such pain.

"Is she okay in there?"

"I'm really not sure at this moment, can she stay over?"

"Of course she can baby. She needs you right now, and you'll let me know if you need anything."

I heard Dominique and Mateo, her boyfriend,  softly discuss.

I silently sobbed as I locked myself in the bathroom.

5 months later...

I was starting to feel like myself again. I hadn't seen August ever since that day and I was still staying at Dominique and Mateo's house. Today, however, I was heading to the mall to find some stuff for my new apartment cause it was about time I gave them some space and get my own.

It was already bad enough that she didn't want me to go to the mall by myself, but she eventually gave in, seeing that I hadn't been out in so long.

I patiently waited for my Uber as I jammed to Chi Chi by Trey Songz and Chris Brown. In about 5 minutes, my Uber Black pulled up and I hopped in.

I made it to the mall and got myself some food first cause ya girl gotta eat. After that I headed to all home/furniture shops, buying all the things that didn't need to be delivered.

I was now at some shop that sold beddings and mostly bedroom décor. I was so tired from all that walking that I could barely stand. That was all evident in the steel nightstand I tumbled over.
