Oh, to see without my eyes
The first time that you kissed me
Boundless by the time I cried
I built your walls around me -
Sufjan Stevens, Mystery of Love

What sense could you bare to lose?

Well,

I would either miss the sound of my name being called by you, from room to room in the white walled apartment

or

I would miss the smell of your skin after long walks outside on windy days; green, fresh, honest

or

I would miss the glow of your eyes when I'd open mine, to see if you were still there at 5am

or

I would miss the taste of your lips when nothing else existed but us, behind closed eyes

or

I would miss the feel of your hands, and the euphoria they create.

Or, I would die without the sense, of you.
