"Bruv you in here." Tapping the bedroom door!
"Yeah."

The room was dark because he had the curtains shut! Dan was staring in the full length mirror!

"You alright?"
"Can't believe I'm doing this!"
"What marrying Sophia?"
"Yeah.. "
"Dan... seriously she is great course your doing the right thing!"

Taking a deep breath in

"It the nerves that's all.. you wait till you see her walking towards you.."

"I know... I know..." adjusting his jacket one last time, Bobby rested his hand on his shoulder but the silence between them lasted for a while before dan spoke

"I've seen how you look at her! I used to look at her that way!"

"At who? And used to?" He was confused

"Lucy.. I'm not stupid!!"

"No one said you were."

"Not denying it then? She's my best friend seriously!" Clearly disapproved

"I know she is... can't blame me she's beautiful!"

"She's my best friend!"

"Yeah I know.. so Lucy is off limits?"

"You shouldn't even ask that."

"Dan.. what you telling me?"

"I've seen the way your look at her.."

"Okay.. so... I like her.."

"You don't know her."

"Look.. you clearly want a fight.. so I'm gonna go... see you down stairs." Taking hold of his mobile he called Lucy

"Hey... yeah I'm okay you okay?.. not in a good place.. don't know! I've found him in the bedroom in darkness.... yeah I know... I've had to walk out he was wanting a fight... you.... yeah you... sorry babe but I won't apologise for liking you..... you know I do it's very obvious........ maybe you should come see him.. he isn't talking to me... okay see you in minuet.. bye bye"

"Bobby..look at you." Mum appeared as proud as punch adjusting the jacket collar not that it needed it. When it come down to it my mum is an amazing women who would do anything for you.

"Where's your brother!" She asked
"Upstairs.."
"Okay.. so you and Chloe?"
"Chloe?" Asking puzzled
"I saw her yesterday at the lunch for Sophia.. she said you both been seeing each other!"
"Once.. for dinner.." he scrunched up his face
"Oh.. she said she saw your car outside waiting for her while we were having lunch."
"I was there.. but not picking her up! Did she say I was then?"
"Yeah she said you were there to pick her up.. there you go much better.. looking dapper"
"No mum. I realised me and Chloe aren't right for each other..."
"She is a nice girl"
"I'm not saying that she isn't mum.. but.." stopping and watching Lucy float by the window which over looked the patio. Her silky dusky pink dress floated with her at ease, hair set in curls that bounced with every step. Pure beauty!

"Bobby.." turning back to Mum, her eyes sparkled while saying

"That is your brothers best friend..." raising her eyebrows

"I didn't say it was Lucy! You came up with that all yourself.."

Lucy gingerly waved and pointed to the stAirs. Her elegance was pure, her cheeky grin was innocent. She arched her shoulders up as she playfully got to the stairs and she were gone

"Maybe so son however I saw that look... I wouldn't blame you She a beautiful girl. However just think of your brother!!" With a reassuring tap on his chest she left.
