jungkook woke up. it was cold, his blanket was laying on the floor. he sat up when he realized taehyung wasn't with him. he jumped up and ran out of his room into the kitchen seeing all the other members eating breakfast

"guys where's taheyung." jungkook said sternly.

"uhh he told us he was going somewhere with you.." jin replied, food stuffed into his cheeks.

jungkooks stomach dropped. he knew for a fact that he didn't plan ANYTHING with taehyung today. it was their free day..

jungkook ran to his room, threw his shirt off onto the bed, and sprinted out the door shifting while doing so. he was running full speed in the woods stopped every once in a while to try to find taheyungs soft scent.

but it was nowhere.

taehyung opened his eyes. he squinted at the bright light shining in front of him. when his eyes focused he made out a person a few feet away from him. there was a price of cloth in taehyung's mouth that got ripped out when the person walked up to him.

"yeah your mate isn't so tough is he?"

"y-you've made a grave mistake. you don't want to mess with him. let me go"

"i took you right from under his nose. i can keep you all i want"

"who even are you? y-you don't look like anyone they were talking about.."

"i'm a werewolf hunter. i've heard about you for a few months now.. i've been searching for you too... now that i finally have my hands on you in not letting you go."

taehyung let out a small, quiet whimper.

i told you jungkook. i told you they would take me. and you promised they wouldn't.

jungkook had caught a glimpse of taehyung's scent which he tried so hard to not forget as he ran faster and faster towards it.

he stopped when he saw a body, bloody, with ripped clothes. was it taehyung?

jungkook trotted up to the body... it had blonde hair, just like taehyung, smelled.. exactly like taehyung. jungkook whined and nudged the shoulder of the body with his nose.. it was.. stuffed?

he walked to the other side of the body seeing that it was a stuffed body, with taehyung's clothes on it from the house, ripped and covered with taehyung's blood. how did it even get his blood?

taehyung cried as he saw the person across from him grabbing a syringe and filling it up with some type of milky liquid.

"p-please.."

"i know you think your going to go back to your mate.. i know you do."

"b-because i will, he will come back for me"

"not when you don't love him anymore," the man walked over to taehyung flicking the syringe to even out the substance. "..he'll be heartbroken..."

tears started falling down taehyung's face as he pleaded to the man,
"please.. plea- no no.. please stop don-don't do this.."

the man looked at the side of taehyung's neck as he turned the string toward it. taehyung was squirming but stopped when the man put his hand onto his throat silencing his muffled screams.

the needle sunk into taehyung's neck, taehyung completely tensing up. the man pressed on the end of the syringe pushing the liquid into taehyung's blood stream.

he felt..a drop. his heart completely dropped. his stomach dropped. everything turned dark. he tried to think about jungkook as that calmed him down but... w-who was jungkook?

jungkook was still running. it got a little dark but since he was a werewolf he could still see. after almost 2 1/2 hours of running in the woods he finally came across a house.

he ran by the window to see that it was boarded by wood so he couldn't see inside. he made his way to the front of the house, there was no quiet way in.

jungkooks head shot up when he heard someone start gasping for air. they started coughing, he could hear them fall to he ground and grab their throat.

taehyung.

jungkooks eyes turned a deeper red as he busted the door open snarling in the doorway. the hunter pulled a gun from his belt and pointed it toward jungkook.

"if you don't back up.. i'll shoot."

jungkook shifted back to human form wiping drool off his lip as he did so. "shoot me. see what happens.." jungkook looked over at taehyung who was shaking on the floor trying to get away from the two. not once did taehyung look over at jungkook.

"i said get back," the hunter said as jungkook took another step forward. jungkook looked back over towards taehyung as his eyes started watering,

"y-you took my mate, you really think i'm going to let you get away with the one person i'd die for?"

the hunter chuckled. "you sure he's your mate still?"

taehyung finally looked up, the liquid that was injected into him dripping from
his mouth like foam. jungkook looked over to him as he wiped a tear from his cheek,

"t-taehyung..."

the hunter loaded his gun. he was about to shoot.

"d-do you still l-love me?"

taehyung looked at jungkook making eye contact. he stared straight into his soul.. feeling absolutely nothing for the man in front of him.

he opened his mouth to speak,

"i-i don't even know who you are.."

right after taheyung said that a shot was fired, hitting jungkook straight in the shoulder. throwing him to the ground.
