"Wilson, you're late," Tony yelled from the kitchen, right as Sam shut the front door.

"Sorry, busy picking up a stray along the way," he motions to you when you two enter the doorway.

Tony gets up, pulling Sam into the living room, leaving you awkwardly standing there as the rest stare at you.

"Who is she?"

"I think she said he names (Y/N). Said she knew Steve and Snowflake over there."

Tony rubbed his fingers on his temple, exasperated. "Of course she'd say that just to get inside the tower. She was just waiting for the right sucker, that's where you came along."

A few more minutes of back and forth arguing, Tony and Sam returned back to the table. Sam introducing you to everyone there, leaving Steve and Bucky for last.

"She says she knows you two, from WAY back when,"

Steve and Bucky share a look and shake their heads.

"We don't know or remember a (Y/N). Sorry."

"Told you so," Tony taunted.

As much as Sam tried to convince them, it didn't jog their memory, and Bucky was starting to get a little angry at Sam for keeping going.

"Look, we don't know her!"

Steve shrugged, sincerely sorry he couldn't place you, "He's right, we have no idea who she is," and they both went to exit the kitchen.

"Your parents were George and Winifred. You had a sister named Rebecca," you began. "Yours were Joseph and Sarah," you said while looking at Steve.

They turned around, looking a bit shocked, but it didn't last long. "Anyone can read that in the Smithsonian," Tony muttered.

You sighed, "We met for the first time back in '32, in a back alley, we were fifteen, except Bucky, he had just turned sixteen. These guys were trying to have their way and then I see this short, scrawny, little blond kid come up, he's wheezing pretty hard but he stuttered out for them to leave. They layed into him, but not for long when this other kid come along. He was taller and bigger, and he had the best eyes you'd ever seen," you laughed. "He had introduced himself as James Barnes, but he said everyone called him Bucky, cause of his middle name, Buchanan. The little blond, said his name was Steve Rogers."

No one made a sound, but everyone was shocked. Both Steve and Bucky stared wide eyed. You could see it was coming back. Little by little.

"Then in '34, right after Bucky had turned eighteen," you look at him, "you went to find my father and 'teach him a lesson' when you found out he was beating me.."

Tony still wasn't buying it, but Sam was in complete awe.

"We'd find newspapers in the garbages and stuff them in our shoes for insulation, but not before we'd read the funnies." Taking a deep breath, you went on, looking Steve right in the eyes, "We'd go skip rocks down by the lake, and you'd blush every time I'd put my arms around you when I tried to show you how to do it right. And I remember how You had cried when you found out that it wasn't just Buck leaving this time, and you asked what about me?. Or, when we wanted to get a rise out of you, Buck and I would talk next to your bad ear cause we knew you wouldn't hear it. "

You chuckled, remembering the old times with them, missing it greatly.

"Remember, back in '44, right before Bucky had to go? He set you and him up with two girls to go out and see Howard Starks show and go dancing, and he set me up with one of the guys from the 107." You giggled, "That was a date from hell, but somehow it turned into a second, then a third, then something more with him. You and I," you pointed at Bucky, "were so excited about seeing Howard Starks futuristic..."

"Amazing flying car," it was in unison, like you weren't the only to remember, like neither of you three had even left each other - it felt like old times.

"That is until we turned around. Steve was gone and we worried, not even caring that we had left our dates to find him," you finished the memory.

You sighed, hoping this was making it all come back.

"And let's not even relive January of '45," you whispered sadly. "Or December."

Steve and Bucky's eyes were filled with sadness at the thought, but also a light - a bit of happiness and knowing.

"I have your six, if you have mine...please," you begged, tears filling your eyes, "You know me..please, remember me."

A/N: Possibly a part 2? And yes, I understand the time lines are probably really messed up.
