A loud crash and then a thump was all you heard from the speedy Sokovian's room.
"Piet?" You whispered, opening his door.
He layed on his bed, facing you.
Your eyes met his; you could see his were red and welling up with tears.
You noticed the pieces of glass on the floor.
"Is it true," he whispered.
You've never heard Pietro this quiet and lacking in confidence.
He smiled sadly when he saw the confusion on your face.
"Clint said that nobody really needs or wants me here. That if I disappeared, no one would care. He said everyone loves Wanda, but me, nobody wants."
You could feel you own tears as you sat next to him.
"No. That's not true. We all want you and need you here with us. Wanda needs you," you paused for a moment, "I..I need you."
He smiled.
You got up to find Clint, giving Pietro a quick kiss on the top of his head.
Downstairs, you find Clint at the table.
You were angry. You couldn't believe he'd break a young person down so much.
"You shouldn't have told Pietro that. You shouldn't have said that at all. You know it's a lie," you finished.
Then storming off to get back to Pietro.
