You got back to town and were relieved,you stood there as Richie played the tuba you knew he wasn't supposed to have and smiled
"He asked to borrow a pencil once" you heard Ben say and looked back to see Billy lift up a missing kids poster to reveal another (Betty ripsom) "it's like she's been forgotten" Billy said and you shook your head all this room on the  wall yet you choose to cover another poster a worried child's parents put up like covering up a bad wall-paper
job,you look back to richie getting the tuba taken away by its rightful owner "what the fuck, dude?" He said and Eddie came back "what are you guys talking about?" He questioned licking his icecream before it melted any further "what they always talk about" Richie piped in taking the other cone "I think it'll stop for a little while atleast" Ben spoke and you walked over to mike you worry for all of you even the ones you haven't known for long,Ben spoke but all you could think about is all this ending he talked about how it'll leave again.you made you way to the park and kept focused on your surroundings just Incase, mike sensed something was wrong throwing an arm around your shoulder as the boys all kinda got the glaring look but kept silent, you bit your lip and sat down on the bench between Beverley and Stanley, you stared forward listening to the conversation everyone looked frazzled and all had the right to be talking about how it comes out only to eat children then leaves and doesn't come back
Stanley tried to compare it to cicadas but please "my grandfather thinks this town is cursed,says that all the bad things that happen in the town are because of one thing.An evil that feeds off the people of Derry." Mike said "But it can't be one thing we all saw something different." Stanley said "maybe maybe it knows what scares us the most and that's what we see" mike spoke and Eddie stuttered "I saw a leper. He was like a walking infection."
"But you didn't because it isn't real,not eddies leper or bill seeing Georgie.." you cut him
off "or you all being dead" you looked down "o-o-or the woman I keep seeing." He ended .. "is she hot?" Richie said and you kicked him "no,Richie.she's not hot!her face is all messed up,none of this makes any sense."
You leaned on Beverly as she brushed her finger through her hair "their all like bad dreams" Stanley said and you shook your head it's not like a bad dream at all and mike took the words right out of your mouth explaining how it isn't so "what did you see?" Eddie said "you saw something too?" You asked "yes do you guys know that burned-down house on Harris avenue?" You guys all nodded "I was inside when it burned down,before I was rescued my mom and dad were trapped in the next room over from me.They were pushing and pounding on the door,trying to get to me.But it was too hot. When the fireman finally found me the skin on their hands had been melted down to the bone." He finished and you shuddered and reached for his hand under Stanley's legs how horrible "we're all afraid of something." He said and took your hand "got that right" Richie said and looked at the creepy clown on stage ..you always knew he hated clowns "why,Rich? What are you Afraid of?" Eddie asked he pushed up his glasses and looking at you "clowns" he answered "let's make our way to my house" Billy said "review the old map on my projector" he leaned forward on his bike and you got on the back surprising him "race race race race!" You chanted and they all got on their bikes "that's not fair that's two against us!" Richie said "I'm not peddling genius it's pure Billy!"you laughed you could see his 'oh yeah' face
You gripped Billy and he laughed "are all the racers lined up?" He asked and you nodded "on your mark,get set,Go!" You yelled and all of you were off
