This kid just hears all the juice of what's going on, doesn't he? Lindsey thought. Letting out a hard and irritable sigh, he brought Jeffrey over to the other side of the living room. He was ready to whisper and speak quietly. He didn't want Nicholas hearing. "Okay, now you are sworn into secrecy, man. I wasn't supposed to say anything at all. But that's what has been on my mind all day."

"Okay," he nodded.

"Your mother is pregnant."

"What?" he responded in a tone, that Lindsey couldn't differentiate.

"Is that good or bad?" he asked, still in a whisper.

"I mean, I guess it's cool. Another baby..." he trailed. "How far along is she?"

"Near thirty-two weeks, I think," he gestured with his hand.

"Thirty-two weeks!" he exclaimed.

"Shh...," Lindsey waved his hand down at him. "No one is supposed to know. Not even you."

"Sorry, when did she find out?" he whispered again. "Thirty-two weeks, that's like a lot of months."

"The same day Shannon had her MRI. She found out and then she was ten weeks in. She said it marked back to when Kristen came over that night. I guess your mom and dad were getting their shit straightened that night."

"Wow..." Jeffrey had no words. "My kid and brother or sister are going to be the same age."

Lindsey rolled his eyes. Because, who cares? "Anyway, this is also what makes the situation tougher with Shannon. Stevie and I just started being together. And Shannon thinks we were having an affair."

"She is gonna think you knocked mom up," he finished.

"Exactly," he responded. "And I didn't," he felt the need to add.

"Well," Jeffrey crossed his arms. "I don't know, man... this shit just keeps getting worse. Why didn't mom tell us?"

"Because, she wanted to tour. She didn't want us nagging her to stay home. The doctor told her she should take it easy and not to stress. But this stuff with your dad passing, Shannon and her shit- which we knew was coming, but we didn't know it would be so soon. Hell, Stevie and I didn't think we would get together anytime soon and look how that turned out."

"True..." he trailed. "We just have to let it roll.

-

"That's a lot," Sharon said simply to Stevie, who had told them everything.

"Yeah..." she sighed, widening her eyes a bit. "That's everything and it's really fucking tiring. I can't handle this. I don't know where my daughter is or any of her plans. She probably hates me and I don't even know how Nick feels. I mean; Jeff- I'm pretty sure Lindsey explained it all to him. But Nick, the latest I heard with Nick was that he has a girlfriend."

"He does?" both girls exclaim.

"I know and I was as usual the last to know. It's my fault, if I wasn't on tour I'd be tending to my children."

"No, it's not your fault. You didn't know any of this would happen. It's just been one drama after the other," Lori added.

Stevie bit the inside of her mouth. "I go home in a week and I don't know what I am supposed to expect," she paused. "Would you mind finishing the tour for me?" she whined also getting a laugh out of the girls.

"If we could, we would do that. But as of now you are the street angel and you only have five shows left," Sharon responded.

"You can do this and we're always here," Lori mentioned.
