Peter, May and i were sat at a table in Prachya Thai.

Peter was prodding his food not even eating much, maybe he's stressed out because we found out his secret.

To be honest though I guarantee we would have found out eventually.

I was eating my food, trying to look as normal as possible after finding out your best friend is Spider-Man.

May was trying her best to fill the silence.

"What's the matter? I thought you guys loved larb, Is it too larby? not larby enough.....how many times do I have to say larb before you two talk to me" May breathed out a laugh.

Peter gave her a shy smile.

"Sorry May, there's just a lot on my mind that's all" I spoke softly. She returned a small smile "it's ok honey"

May turned back to Peter, determined to make him speak to her or even me. He's just been quiet the whole time since we stepped out of the apartment.

"You know I larb you" I giggled before covering it up with a clear of my throat.

"I-I'm just stressed with the internship and I'm tired...lot of work" Peter finally spoke.

May began speaking to Peter about the internship and Tony Stark before the news caught my attention. I patted peters hand telling him to look at the TV.

It showed Spider-Man aka. Peter trying to stop robbers in the ATM.
The news anchor saying that the robbers were trying to shoot Spider-Man with their new weapon but blasting the shop across the street setting it afire. Luckily nobody was injured.

Once the clip finished May turned to the both of us.

"You spot something like that happening, you turn and you run the other way"

"Yeah, yeah of course" we both said

"Six blocks away from us-"

"I-I-I need a new backpack" I turned to face Peter with a confused look.

"What?" May asked "I-I need a new backpack" Peter smiled

"That's fine"

A man and a boy around my age came and placed two dishes in front to May and I.

"Sticky rice pudding"
"Oh we- we didn't order those" I said confused
"It's on the house" they both winked at me and May before leaving.

May said a quick thanks

I looked at my pudding to see a note attached to the plate. I read it and laughed showing Peter, it was a phone number with a little heart and then the boys name that served me.

He smirked and giggled amused but his eyes showed something else, I couldn't figure it out.

"I think they larb you"

I scoffed and backhanded peters shoulder as a way to tell him to shut up, we were both smirking at one another.

What we didn't see was May smiling at the two of us thinking how cute it'd be if we were together.

The next day

Peter, Ned and I were walking to school together, I had to admit it felt nice to all be close again. I guess now we know about Peter we can hang out more and I'm definitely not complaining.
