"Peter...either Aunt May's brownies had drugs in them making me hallucinate this, or you're actually spider-man...."
"You're the Spider-Man from YouTube!"
"No. No, I'm not"
"Ned, pinch me." I exclaimed holding out my arm "Oww! Ok definitely not hall...
Peter looked highly frustrated as people began to leave the hall. He shrugged my hand off his shoulder as he turns to face Ned.
"What are you doing!" "Helping you out!"
"Yeah if by helping out you mean throwing peter under a huge bus that he's now trapped under forever, yeah great helping out Ned!" I was feeling very sarcastic today..can you tell?
"I told you peter, Ned has a very hard time keeping secrets And he sort of leaked yours a smidge, this is the time I tell you "I told you so" I smirked although peter didn't find it funny.
"Hey! Anyway I was helping peter out because-" he turned to face peter "-did you not hear her, Liz has a crush on you!"
"Well not really on you, more like Spider-Man" I grumbled however the two idiots beside me didn't hear because they were already in deep discussion.
"Dude, You're an avenger! If anyone has a chance with a senior girl, it's you!" Ned confirmed.
Ned then began to walk away to the locker room, me then walking in the other direction to the girls. I didn't want to hear peter talk my ear off about Liz, I don't think I have the strength to stomach it all. Which would then lead to me crying hysterically causing a horrific sight, especially with this mascara...it's not waterproof.
Home
I came home to nobody....again. It wasn't a surprise, it happened 9 times out of 10.
Let me give you the brief. My mom and dad got a divorce when I was 10 due to constant arguments and it wouldn't be good for me to be raised in that environment blah blah blah. Mom wanted a new start moving to New York queens where I went to school and befriended Ned and Peter. Mom couldn't stop getting upset about the divorce and threw herself into work making her into a workaholic, barely coming home and going abroad for meeting etc. My Aunt Jenny joined us when we moved to Queens since she was already living by herself and was getting lonely. However since coming to Queens she got a job as an artist, painting portraits and landscapes for a living, if was her dream that she never got to peruse back in our old town.
She takes night shifts which are usually 5pm while 6:30am. So I see her for about 1-2 hours a day. She's basically like my mom as I only see my mom once every 6 months, which is for my birthday and Christmas. So overall it's like I'm living alone, I don't complain about it since I love my dogs and space but it can get lonely.
Anyway.... backstory over.
So nobody is home which means that Aunt Jenny has either gone to work early, excited to finish her new piece she's been dying to get done and show me or she's gone to do shop for groceries.
I decided to lounge around and watch a film before Liz's party.
Weird science it is!
Looking at the clock it's currently 6:50 giving me roughly 40 minutes to get ready.
Picking an outfit for a party was difficult, you had to consider a lot of key points. - What type of party it is - What the weathers like And lastly if someone you like is going to be there.
After minutes of searching I found the perfect outfit...

Once I'd picked my outfit I then did my hair and makeup, which turned out better than expected.
Liz's house was about a 10 minute walk from mine so I told Peter and Ned I'd meet them outside when May dropped them off.
It's now 7:30 which gives me around 15 minutes to get to Liz's house and wait for peter.
I made sure to let Teddy and Winston out in the back yard so they could do their business and also feed them before I left for the party, since I know by the time I'd get back they'd be whining and the house would probably be trashed. Either that or the neighbours will have called the police with a noise complaint, which would led to Aunt Jenny grounding me for being irresponsible and not looking after the dogs or not training them well enough.
No hate Aunt Jenny, I love you.
I locked the door and pushed the handle down to double check to see that I'd properly locked the door. I began my trek to Liz's taking my time as I had plenty to spare knowing Peter liked to be fashionably late, I began to see Liz's beautiful house in the distance.
Once I was at the driveway I decided to sit on the steps and wait for my two amigos , the street was littered with cars up and down the streets as people packed into the mansion like house that belonged to Liz and her hard working parents. I've never actually met Liz's parents as I've only been to her twice and that was only for 2 hours because we were partnered for a project.
Around 10 minutes later May's Volvo 740 Turbo Estate pulled to a stop outside Liz's house. YES I know my cars thanks to my old man I call my dad, I stood up brushing the creases and dirt from my trousers.
I made my way to May's car which had Peter in the front passenger seat and Ned in the back. I smiled and waved as I made my way to the car, May waved back at me as peter had a worried look on his face. I could see that Peter and May were having a deep conversation but I wanted to hurry up and get a drink, I wanted to have a good time.
I knocked on the window, making Peter roll it down.
"Come on guys stop being party poopers, lets go and get a drink and have fun!" I was definitely more outgoing than Ned and Peter, since I was kinda friends with Liz I was invited to a lot more parties, which meant I got more wild and drunk.
Peter kept denying saying that coming to the party was a mistake, I huffed and opened the car door. I hooked my arms with Peters basically dragging him out of the car like a child not wanting to leave the playground. After a minute of struggling he finally complied and gave up struggling making my life so much easier, Ned came out after and joined me hooking his arm in my free arm.
