For all the selenophiles out there!

She sings a sweet rhapsody

to the serene night.

Sanguinity snakes through

her veins and sinews.

Rainbow sprinkled verses

and scintillating tunes,

she punctuates her songs

with mellowed whispers

to beckon the moon.

She doesn't know that

the moon responds

only to deep elegies

and songs of sorrow.

The moon doesn't even

flash a nod to the

happy songs of the dame.

Move on, girl, for there are

other natural things

to sing your songs to.
