Cancer.

What a beast of a disease.

It took over my life.

Yes, it took over. I lit up like a Christmas tree, the cancer taking over all the parts of my body.

Year by year, I waited for it to take over my body more and more. To the point where I couldn't even talk. My husband stayed with me and told me that I was gonna be okay. That I was gonna make it. That I am going to make it.

But I don't like it when people tell me lies.
