Her lips stretched over her plump, pink face. Her teeth clamped together in a grin as she looked at you. At first glance she seemed delighted to be there, like most smiles would show.

Her cheeks were rosy and pink and smile wide and bright. But her eyes told another story.

The most beautiful girl, with the most beautiful smile. She had the purest, most innocent heart, full of love and compassion for the life around her. Her laugh was like a church bell, loud and clarifying and full of hope. She walked like she was on the moon, bouncing in every step she took.

But her eyes told a different story.

A beautiful girl, so full of love, with a smile that could lift the most sorrowful soul into light, held the demons of hell in her head. A girl so joyous it was as if she'd never seen the horrors of the real world, held so much loathing within her mind.

She loved everyone and everything.

Except for herself.
