all of the members will be the same age for this ff. at the beginning of the fic, they are going into their junior year, so they're all 17 ish years old.

Hobbies: skateboarding, gymnastics, drawing, listening to indie music

Background: his dad died when he was really young, lives with his mom, an only child, moved into the neighborhood a year before kindergarten, had a hard time making friends with the other boys
Personality: comes off as intimidating and rough, but is actually just afraid to show his feelings, at times he can get really hyper and weird, kills everyone with his beautiful smile
Hobbies: playing guitar and video games, biking, setting things in fire in the forest

Jackson

Age: 17 years old
Sexuality: openly bisexual
Background: his dad travels a lot, so he's really close with his mom, moved to the neighborhood in second grade but made friends with the boys really fast
Personality: loud, a comedian, adults either hate him or love him, very caring and shows it, gets along with everyone, always shows his emotions
Hobbies: football, biking, making dirty jokes, rapping

Jinyoung

Age: 17 years old
Sexuality: gay but only out to his friends
Background: he lives with his aunt and uncle because his parents died when he was 8, moved into the neighborhood in second grade at the same time as Jackson, took longer to become friends with the boys, they had to force him to be friends with them because he'd rather sit under a tree and read a book
Personality: quiet but not shy, very mature and responsible, doesn't like to show his feelings, pretends like he doesn't care about people but he knows he wouldn't be anything without the boys
Hobbies: reading, biking, drawing, singing but he doesn't like to show it

Youngjae

Age: 16 years old, almost 17
Sexuality: Asexual
Background: his parents are two sunshines, grew up with music, has a younger sister whom he loves very much, has lived in the neighborhood since he was born
Personality: loud, very nice and innocent, everyone loves him
Hobbies: singing and everyone knows it, biking, doodling, listening to music, playing piano

Bambam

Age: 16 years old
Sexuality: questioning
Background: he lived in Thailand until he was 4 because his father died, lives with his mom, 2 brothers, and sister, made friends pretty fast, had a language barrier for about a year, moved into the neighborhood during the first year of preschool
Personality: likes to make dirty jokes, everyone thinks he's really cool, all the teachers hate him, secretly hates everyone but the boys
Hobbies: rapping, biking, looking at memes, watching vine compilations, playing video games, dancing

Yugyeom

Age: 16 years old
Sexuality: straight (for now)
Background: has lived in the neighborhood since he was born, his parents were from South Korea, both his parents travel a lot, only child, was reluctant to welcome new boys into the group
Personality: seems really cool on the outside, but he's actually really awkward, tries not to show his feelings but isn't very good at it, forms very long-lasting relationships, doesn't like change, goes along with whatever Bambam says
Hobbies: dancing, singing and rapping sometimes, skateboarding, playing video games, doing stupid shit with Bambam

i don't normally like to do these but i think this will help you get a better grasp of the characters so... aND I CHANGED SOME THINGS like their parent situation and how many siblings they have so it's not mistakes it's on purpose thank

also, yugbam is the only ship that will be in this fic. no side ships.
