Chapter 3 - Introductions

Hermione POV - First Person

Annabella's lie was quite amusing. Mom told me that she was actually jobless and trying to get into beauty pageants but failing to. She also lived with her parents and is still single.

I smiled at Annabella. "Hello, Annabella Granger. I know all the models for HM Clothing and none of them has the name of Annabella Granger, not only that, I read every edition of Fashion Weekly and I don't remember seeing you on the front page, or on any page for that matter." Annabella frowned, cheeks turning red.

"Excuse me, who do you think you are, talking to my daughter like that?" Aunt Valentina's fat face appeared in front of mine.

"I'm sorry, but I was just telling the truth. My name is Hermione. M, the CEO of HM Clothing and COO of Malfoy Enterprises." I stuck out my hand to my aunt. I looked over her shoulder to find my parents stifling laughter and Uncle James, Aunt Veronica, Uncle Fredrick and Grandmother Edith's astonished faces.

"Her... Herm... Hermione?!" Aunt Valentina's face grew pale. "You're a CEO?!" She took a step back, accidentally stepping on her daughter's foot.

"OUCH!! MOM! MY FOOT!" Annabella screamed. She turned to me. "You are a liar. You're not a CEO." She then was carried off by her mother to fix her 'sore foot'.

"Well, that explains a lot, the greetings, the parking at the CEO's space." Grandmother Edith said cheerfully. She grinned at me.

"Grandmother Edith!" I wrapped my arms around my grandmother. "I missed you so!"

"I have too, dearie. And look at you. You've grown so much, you've become a beautiful young lady!" I blushed but grinned back at my grandmother.

Releasing myself, I smiled at my other family members.

"Uncle Frederick, Uncle James, Aunt Veronica, Angel, Diamond, Mom, Dad." I acknowledged all of them and began to walk to the glass doors.

"Follow me in and let's get our keys," I called over my shoulder and everyone walked in behind me.
