I froze, he froze, everyone froze. It was like a game of musical statues.

Okay, probably not the best way to describe it but you get what I mean.

"How do you know my name? You do remember?" Jasper asked quickly, pulling away from me, making my chest ache at the absence of his warmth.

"No, I don't remember, what am I even supposed to remember? I can't remember anything if I don't know what to remember and I just said remember wayyyy too many times in that sentence I think I need to sit down a sec." I exclaimed all at once.

The man- Jasper- gave me a weird look, "You already are sat down darlin' " he said, raising a brow questioningly at me, making a fierce blush spread across my face, yet again making me glad that my hood hid my face. "By the way, what's with the hood? It's like really hot outside if you couldn't tell and I can't see your beautiful face with it on."

"I don't really know why I wear it, to be honest, it just seems to make me more comfortable, ya know."

"Well, can I see your face, I'm sure you're stunnin", he shifted slightly, reaching a pale hand towards me, making me shoot back and smack my head against the wall behind me.

"Ah shit goddammit, that hurts." I cursed, fiercely rubbing my pounding skull with my hand, probably messing up my hair under my hood but I didn't really care. Not like anyone can actually see it.

"Okay, in all seriousness, I- we need answers," he said, seriousness suddenly lacing his voice.

"Well, you ask I'll try and answer. I don't know more than you most likely."

He gave me one last look before there was a knock at the door and Peter, Char, and Annabeth appeared once more.

Squad rollup much?

"Ask away, I'm all mouth... or whatever."

"Okay, well let's start with how you, someone with no previous battle strategy, someone who had never even picked up a sword let alone fought with one as able to beat a demi-god, half god boy - who has been training for years .yea?" Annabeth spat like a savage cat, shooting multiple questions at me all tangled together.

I sighed. "I thought I'd already answered this, I don't know it's like something just took over me and then the next thing I knew I was on top of macho man here, that sorta hurt bt-dubs boo, don't do it again please," i answered, aiming the last bit at a frustrated looking Jasper.

He let out a deep breath, "okay, how old are you?"

"17" I replied shortly.

"You're twentyone darlin' "

My eyes shot up to meet his. How was that possible?

"No no no, no I'm not! I think I know my own age thank you very much!" I screeched.

They all exchanged all look, disbelief evident in their eyes as their gaze turned from each other to me once more.

"Alright next. Whats your name?" Peter asked, nicer than Annabeth but still not particularly nice.

"Isa,"I replied bluntly, receiving more looks from all of them. Jeesh, can't please some people, can you? "Fine, fine, my birth name's Isabella, I used to go by Bella and now its Isa." I explained, rolling my eyes. god, I feel like such an angsty teen right now.

"Why did you change it?"

"I don't know, do I need a reason? Why am I even explaining any of this to you? you're all just a load of nosey, blood sucking creeps with your half breed friends poking a stick at the next most interesting thing just because I beat your sorry ass!" I hissed, finally reaching my breaking point I sprinted towards the door.
