Oh for the love of FUCKING GOD.
Have you heard yourselves?? This movie is a cinematic MASTERPIECE. There doesn't need to be POC everywhere you fucking look nowadays. Sure, they should be represented more. In fact OF COURSE they need to be represented more. It's there right after so many years of being fucked over.
But GUYS this is a CARTOON movie. The actual characters are true to the legend/Bible story. They are represented as POC. You don't see the voice actors so it shouldn't matter who they are.
These actors/producers/ director (s) / anyone else who worked on the movie worked so fucking hard to make it a good one and the fact they are being dragged because of their skin color, which is the ultimate hypocrisy, is absolutely RIDICULOUS.
People should be seen as People, As Actors, who get lucky if they land a film/job in Hollywood, which is a fucking HARD industry, and get paid. People should be seen as people. Not skin colour.
The voice actors are heard but not seen.
POC are represented through the actual Characters.
People should be seen as people, nowadays more than ever.
These Actors should be recognised for their HARD WORK.
They should be appriecated for taking such a daring risk with this film in the first place.
