Natsu is asexual. This is partly due to the fact that Igneel never gave him The Talk, and Makarov was "getting too old for this shit", so Erza took it upon herself to teach him. It was accompanied by an hundred-slide PowerPoint presentation, complete with detailed diagrams and graphs. He couldn't look at any girl or boy for weeks afterwards, and had to see a therapist. Eventually he got over it.
(The same presentation was given to Lisanna, Elfman, Levy and Cana. Cana slept through the whole thing, and always wondered why L E + L were retching into the bushes afterward)
