Is It Wrong?

Part 6

*Thanksgiving*

Sarah was up before Bucky standing in her closet trying to decide on a dress she could wear that wouldn't give his mom a heart attack. She had a lot of short dresses that she paired with knee high socks and boots but she didn't think those would be appropriate meeting his mom for the first time. She heard him come in and said "baby what are you doing up so early?"

"I couldn't sleep and I'm trying to decide what to wear." she said 

He walked over to her and hugged her from behind and said "Baby you are going to look fine in whatever you wear." 

"But I'm meeting your mom for the first time James I don't want to look like a hoochie." she said 

He started to laugh and said "Baby you never look like a hoochie when you wear your dresses I promise you that. And I do have a favorite that you have worn to teach in." 

"Which one?" she said 

"This one here." he said as he held up a Navy Blue dress that she wore recently.

She smiled and said "Ok then that's the one I will wear today." 

He hung it back up and pulled her back to bed and said "I was cold and couldn't figure out why I was cold and I woke up and you were gone. Please don't do that to me again." he said in her ear 

"Im sorry I couldn't sleep." she whispered 

He looked at her and started to play with her hair and kiss her. "Maybe I should make you tired." he whispered 

"So then you will be awake and I'll be asleep." she said with a smile

"You are right. Maybe I should just get up with you." he said  

"I love having you here all the time James its always the best when I get to wake up to you." she said to him

He smiled and said "I could do this every morning for the rest of my life." 

She scooted closer to him and laid on his chest. "I love you James Buchanan Barnes." she whispered 

"I love you too Sarah Grace Jones." he whispered back to her 

They were able to fall back asleep after that. A few hours later they were waking up and getting ready to go to his mom's for Thanksgiving. She straightened out her red hair and did her make up and put on the navy blue dress with a white infinity scarf and put on her knee high socks with knee high boots. She walked out of their room and she did a spin for him as he stood in the kitchen and he said "Beautiful baby." 

He helped her get her winter coat on and they headed to Brooklyn. They pulled into his mom's driveway and he looked over at her and said "Baby she's going to love you. And so is my dad." 

They got out of the car and he grabbed her hand as they walked to the door. He knocked on the door and his sister Rebecca opened the door. "Hey sis." Bucky said as he hugged her and said "Rebecca this is my girlfriend Sarah." 

"Hi it's nice to meet you Rebecca." Sarah said

"It's nice to meet you too Sarah." Rebecca said with a smile 

They walked in and he helped her get her coat off and he took her into the dining room where he knew everyone was. "Hey everybody." Bucky said as they entered the room and his grandma came over and kissed his cheek and said "Whose this beautiful redhead?" 

"Grandma this is my girlfriend Sarah." He said 

"It's very nice to meet you Sarah. I'm Bucky's grandma  Mary." she said as she hugged Sarah.

"Oh it's nice to meet you Mary." she said to her 

"Mom quit scaring the poor girl it's the first time she's been here." Bucky's mom stepped in

"Hi honey sorry about my mom. I'm Winifred or Winnie I'm James's mom. And this is his dad Joe." Winnie said 

"Hi it's nice to meet you both." she said as she shook both of their hands.

"She's beautiful James." Her mom said 

"That she is mom." he said as he looked over at her 

He looked at his dad and he said "Dad she comes from military as well. Her dad is a Colonel." 

"Well I can tell. She knows how to be respectful and courtesy." he said 

Sarah started to chew on her lip and Bucky leaned over in her ear and said "Baby breathe." 

Sarah never had to meet parents with previous relationships so this was all new for her. She felt like she was going to faint and said "James I don't feel so good." and she was about to hit the floor but Bucky caught her. "Baby wake up." she started to come to and she looked up at him 

"Hey there you are baby." he said to her 

"What happened?" she said 

"You told me you didn't feel so good then you fainted baby. But I caught you before you hit the floor." he said to her. 

They were in his old room laying on his bed. "Im sorry James." she said 

"Hey no don't be. I know this is a lot and you told me that you never had to meet parents before." he said to her.

She sat up and said "I think I need to eat something. I didn't eat breakfast cause we over slept." 

"Ok baby." he helped her up and they went downstairs

They went back into the dining room and sat down. 

"You feeling better sweetie?" Winnie said 

"Yeah I think I just needed to eat something." she said 

They said grace and then ate Thanksgiving dinner and ate some dessert. After dinner was over they sat on the couch and his family told her stories about Bucky as a kid. They finally left and on the way home she fell asleep. Bucky kissed her knuckles and laid her hand on his leg when they got home he kissed her cheek and said "Hey beautiful we are home." 

They got home and she started to get ready for bed. He came in and said "Baby are you sure that it was because you skipped breakfast. Cause you skip breakfast a lot and don't faint like that when you are teaching." 

"I skipped breakfast and I was a bundle of nerves James. You have to understand I'm use to standing in front of a classroom full of students. But meeting parents is a whole new game for me and plus I thought my dad scared me but you are dad scared me." she said to him

He started to laugh as he moved her hair off her neck and kissed her. "I love you baby." he said against her neck

"I love you too. " she whispered 

"By the way I want to know when your birthday is cause you haven't told me." he said to her 

"March 20th." she said to him 

He had his forhead against hers and said "Oh really you are a March baby." 

She smiled and said "Yes I am." 

"Mmmm March 10th baby. I will be 18." he whispered 

"mm I know." she giggled as he kissed her neck and blew on the fresh hickey 

She made a new hickey on him as she rode him once they got in bed and started to have sex. They spent the rest of Thanksgiving break in bed watching movies and having sex.
