My name Nova I'm 17 as of today and I'm an orphan.
I've been in the system since I was 3. I've been put in about 7 different homes but people stopped trying to get me once I hit 13.
Now I'm just waiting to turn 18 to get out of this hoe.

We was all in the dining room eating. "Alright you guys it's someone's birthday today." I just sat there.

She looked around her mid 30s. "Nova you've been adopted." I just sat there like damn. "Nah I can't leave without my brother."
"Who's yo brother?" The lady asked. "Derrick."
"They are close friends." Theresa said. "Oh okay well um I only have room for one."
"Then ian going."
"Mane Nova go bruh I got 1 month mane and I'll see ya again. This all you been wanting family you can't pass this shit up."
"Where you gone go when you get out?"

"Ight I'll go." "Okay good I'll be back to get you tomorrow afternoon Nova." She walked off with Theresa.
"Novie can we cut the cake?"
"Yeah go ahead lil man." "A lot of the younger kids love me cause I was like family to them."
I cut the cake for everybody and took some and put it up for me and Derrick to eat later.
I went to the room. "Wanna head out one last time?" He asked.
I nodded. We went to the back yard and I hit the lil lock thing and pulled my phone out.
"While I'm gone I want you to keep this hoe." He nodded.

"You already know I'm not." We snuck through the hole in the gate. "Where you tryna go?"
"Shit the mall?" He nodded we mobbed to the mall. We mostly go for the honeys. We finally reached the mall.

I was chilling at the food court when some females approached us.
