Chapter 14

Peter continued to stare at you in pure shock. "But... How?" he asked seeming to calm down now.

"Now isn't the time to talk about that." You replied putting your hood back on. "You do have a mission to finish. Don't you?" You smirked. Peter smiled and put his mask back on before rushing off to where he needed to go. You following along side him. The two of you entered a nearly empty warehouse and off in the distance seemed to be the man Peter has been tracking down.

"End of the line Vulture!" Peter shouted at the man who turned around and sighed. You hid in the shadows and watched what was happening. You couldn't really hear what else they were saying due to their tones of voices. The next thing you knew, the wings came flying towards Peters direction. You jerked forward but relaxed when he kept dodging the attacks. "Is that really all you got? You missed each time!" peter exclaimed in a cocky tone. You didn't like the fact that he had that tone or attitude in general though you cringed when the man grinned.

"Oh I didn't miss." he said in a tone that sent shivers down your spine. Before you could react, the wings broke off one more pillar before it picked up the man and flew off. The roof crumbled and you glanced at Peter but it was too late. He was crushed under the rubble.

"PETER!" You screamed at the top of your lungs as you rushed over to him in a panic. You threw back some rubble while searching for him at the same time. "Oh my god Peter!" You panted out as you finally saw him crushed under a pillar. Tears ran down your cheeks since he was still. "P...peter?" You whimpered as you reached a hand towards him. He suddenly started breathing heavily and seeming to hyperventilate. Your eyes widened and you immediately jumped in to try and help him out. He struggled to lift himself up and the ruble seemed to budge just a little bit.

"H-help! Please!" he exclaimed in utter distraught. You nodded quickly and got off the ruble and closed your eyes to concentrate. You calmed your breathing and heart rate before opening your eyes and bringing your hands up slowly and lifting everything with the ability to manipulate your surroundings like Stephen had taught you. You managed to even bring the building back to its normal state... Well kinda at least. You fell to your knees after that. The move somehow took a lot of energy from you and you always assumed it was because you didn't practice enough. You quickly got up and rushed over to Peter who still laid on the ground.

"P-Peter? Can you g-get up?" You asked. Your voice and body shaking as tears had continued to stream down your cheeks. He nodded and slowly got up with a little bit of your help. He took off his mask to breathe better and he looked at you with worry. "...Sorry... I-I didn't know what was going to happen. I didn't think any of that wou-" you cut him off by hugging him tightly and sobbing into his chest.

"I-i thought I l-lost you..." You muttered into his chest and held him slightly tighter. Peter looked down at your with a sympathetic look before hugging you back and rubbing your back gently.

"I'm sorry..." he muttered softly into your ear. You pulled away from him and cupped his face to look you directly in the eyes.

"It's fine Peter... I just don't want to lose you..." You replied softly. The two of you fell in silence for a moment before pulling each other into a kiss that was pationate and sweet but not to mention, loving. You pulled away and rested your head against his chest just to savor this moment. He had his arms wrapped around your waist. "I love you, Peter..." You had finally admitted to him.

"I love you too..." He replied back with a smile. You smiled back and gave him a kiss on the cheek before handing him his mask.

"You have a bad guy to bring down, don't you?" You asked with a smirk. He smirked back and grabbed his mask. You put your hood back on and went off find the falcon again. You paused when you got a text from Tony. It was a message saying the address of the new Avengers HQ and that there are Jets heading in that direction. "Shit..." You muttered. Peter glanced at you and approached you to see your text.

"Wait... He could be trying to get the supplies in that jet... We need to hurry." Peter said as he grabbed your hand and made way to the old Avengers tower. Your cheeks turned red as he grabbed your hand. You made it easier and created a portal to the helipad and out of sight of everyone. You continued to hold Peters hand and made the two of you invisible as you entered the ship before it closed. You made the two of you visible and it out could feel the ship begin to take flight.

"Good thinking Peter..." You replied getting tired from all of this. Peter rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly which seemed to be his signature thing.

"T-thanks." he replied. You couldn't help but chuckle at his adorableness and you snuggled up next to him and rested your head against his shoulder.

"I love you, you dork." You said as you glanced up at him with a smile. You could tell he was smiling under the mask. He wrapped his arm around you and rested his head atop yours.

"I love you too..." He replied softly. You turned and lifted his mask to give him a peck on the lips.

"I assume we are official?" You asked with a smirk. Peter let out a chuckle and nodded. You couldn't help but smile brightly and jump into Peters arms and hug him tightly. Though the lovely moment was over when the jet shook a small bit. You let go and had a panicked expression. You grabbed Peter and hid behind some cargo and you could hear the heavy footsteps walk against the flooring of the jet. You bolted at him and sent a punch and set a portal outside behind him to fall in. Though since you weren't thinking about where to go, it let to the top of the jet causeing you to slip back a little but with magic, you kept your feet on the ground. He summoned his wings and began to try and strike you with the points of the wings yet you dodged and blocked as best as you could. Peter finally showed up and attempted to help out. Though the more he attacked, the more damaged the ship was and it was heading towards some buildings in the city. "Shit!" You shouted. You concentrated as best as you could and use your telekinesis and the help of Peter to manipulate it to crash onto a beach. Darkness over took you and Peter had a loud ringing in his ears as he struggled to get up. He rushed over to you to make sure you were okay but he was soon hit by the Vulture and dragged along the ground.
