Grey clouds appeared in the sky as Katie arrived home with Rover following.
Her father stood on the porch and gave her a smile. Katie looks at him and turns her head, trying to hide behind Rover. She did so bad that she couldn't even look at her father.
'I messed up....' Katie said to herself as she took Rover to get some water.
Katie looked at herself in her reflection.
'Just look at me, she's right, I will never pass for a perfect bride...'
She said as she looked over to see her father with an upset face, knowing her mother told him what had happened.
'Nor a perfect daughter...
Can it be that I was meant to play this part? I mean now I see that if I were truley to be myself, I would break my family's heart.'
(Random singing right here)
Who is that girl I see stairing straight back at me?
Why is my reflection someone I don't know?
Cricket was released from his cage and followed Katie.
Katie went to the tombs of her ancestors and sat on her knees.
'Somehow I cannot hide who I am, though I tried.' She said to herself.
She looked at her reflection once again.
'When will my reflection show.....'
Katie used her sleeve to wipe make-up off one side of her face.
'Who I am inside.....'
She wiped the other side and took down her hair and tied it into a lower ponytail.
She sat down on a bench by the cherry blossoms in their yard.
Katie heard footsteps coming her way. She looked over to see her father looking at her and smiled. She looked back at him, but remembering what she did, she turned her head away in shame.
Samuel sat down next to his daughter and looked around.
"What nice blossoms we have this year." He complimented as he saw a tiny, unbloomed(?) One.
"See that one, Katie? It hasn't bloomed yet. But when it does...."
He picked up her flower hair clip she had on earlier and placed it in her hair.
"It will be the most beautiful of all."
Katie slowly turned her head and smiled at her father. Samuel smiled back. It was a nice Father-Daughter moment.
Suddenly.....
They began to hear drums....
*Uh-Oh....*
