Chapter 17

They stood on the roof with the sounds of people gasping.

Zarkon stared at her for he couldn't take much more of the soldier who kicked his butt by avalanche.

Katie tried to find something to fight back and ended up pulling out her fan.

"Looks like you're out of ideas." Zarkon said as he launched forward swinging his sword.

Katie used her fan to knock the sword out of his hands and on to her own.

"Not quite...." She said as she looked behind her. "Ready Green?!"

Green stood with a rocket on her back "I am ready!"

Katie kicked Zarkon causing him to fall and Katie stabbed his sword to the back of his shirt pining him down.

Green launched the rocket and Katie grabbed her. "Get off the roof get off the roof!!" She mumbled to herself in a hurry as she ran.

Zarkon turned to see the rocket hit him. He was then launched to the firework tower.

Just then an explosion of fire and fireworks lit up the sky as everyone applauded and cheered.

Katie jumped off the roof and used a lantern to slide down the ropes. She then ended up letting go, only to fall right into Shiro.

She and Shiro tumbled down the stairs as they were relived to see eachother.

Green and cricket flew by. "You ARE a lucky bug." Green said.

Shiro and Katie stood up as Keith, Hunk, and Lance caught up to them (Still wearing them awesome fashons that make them look hot).

The smoke cleard as we see Coran walking.

"That was a deliberate attempt on my life!!" Coran yelled. "Where is she?! Cause now she's done it!!" He asked looking for Katie.

Keith, Lance, and Hunk circled around and guarded Katie and backing her up away from Coran.

Coran walked up to Shiro. "Step aside! That creature is not worth protecting!

"She's a hero!" Shiro scolded.

"She's a woman! In fact, she's a small Girl!" Coran argued.

Shiro grabbed him by the collar. "Listen here you pompous-"

"Enough!"

They turned around to find Empress Allura.

"Your majesty it's not what-" Shiro was interuppted by Allura holding her hand.

Dispite questioning the argument with Coran and Shiro and 3 of the soldiers in drag (HEY THEY LOOK HOT.) Allura looked at Katie.

The gentlemen stepped aside for Allura to walk to Katie.

Katie bowed to Allura.

"I heard many things about you, Katie Holt." Allura said.

"You Stole your father's armor, ran away from home, impersonated a soldier, deliberated your commanding officer, ridiculed the Altean army, disroyed my palace...."

"And-" Katie jumped when she said that.

"You saved us all." Allura said calmly.

Katie looked up at her to see her smiling. Then, Allura bowed to Katie.

Coran then bowed.

Katie then turned around to see Shiro and our 3 boys bowing to her.

Katie then looked beyond them to see the entire crowd bow to her.

Allura then stood. "Coran." She called.

"Yes your highness?"

"See to it that this young woman become a member of the royal council." Allura ordered.

"I don't think there is any room.." Coran smiled.

"Alright...you can have his job." Allura said.

Then Coran faints.

Katie then bowed again. "It's an Honor your highness." She said. "But I have to get going home."

Allura then held a medal. "Take this so your family will be honored." She said as she placed the medal on Katie.

"And take this for everyone to know what you did for Altea." She said as she gave the sword of Zarkon to her.

Katie then hugged Allura.

Katie released Allura. The three boys went up to Katie and Hunk hugged them into a group hug.

Once released, Shiro walked over to Katie.

"You....uh....." He thought. "You fight good." He blurted out.

Katie frowned. "Oh. Thank you." She said.

Shiro couldn't believed he just said that. He upsetted her.

He watched Katie get on Rover and rode off as the crowd cheered.

"You fight good...." Keith said. "YOU FIGHT GOOD?! THAT'S IT?! THAT'S ALL YOU GOT SHIRO?!" Keith yelled as his face almost turned as red as his dress and make up.

"Our drag make up is better than your compliments." Lance yelled. (A/n: ROASTED!!!)

Allura walked beside him. "You don't meet a girl like that very year." She said as she walked away.

Shiro couldn't help but watch.
