Chapter 12

*New Cover people! This time I made it......looks better than the Klance Aladdin AU cover (that one was rushed)*

The troops walked along the snow in silence. All was quiet until.....

A rocker canon was launched!

Everyone ducked as that noise was made only to see the cart Pidge was taking had a hole through it.

Pidge turned around to see that Green pointed at Cricket. She frowned.

Shiro rode towards her. "What happened?!" He yelled.

"Uh....." Was Katie's response.

"You just gave away our position! Now we-" Shiro's sleeve was then shot by an arrow and hit the ground.

Suddenly a thousand arrows flew in the air.

Shiro ripped the arrow off him as the men scrambled around trying to take cover.

Flaming arrows was thrown into the mix as it hit the cart with the canons.

The cart lit on fire. "Save the canons!" Shiro comanded.

The men then began taking the canons out as Katie released Rover. The cart then blew up as cricket and Green flew out.

"Sure you save the horse..." Green retorted.

Everyone ran to a ledge cross and began to set the canons.

"FIRE!" Shiro yelled.

Everyone lit the canons and were sent flying. The canons hit the mountains where the Galra were.

And then everything fell silent. No arrows....nothing.

"Hold the last canon!" Shiro said to Keith. Keith froze...everyone did.

Silence filled the air. No attacks. Did they win?

Not really....because then...

At the top of a hill in front of them stood none other than Zarkon himself.

Zarkon sat on his horse with an evil grin when suddenly his army appeared.

A Millon men!

The silence was then filled with battle cries as Zarkon road down first as the men followed.

Now your thinking...a million men VS. 40....not fair.

"Everyone get ready to fight!" Shiro said taking his (other) sword out. "If we die, we die with honor." He said as the men continued to take their swords out.

"Aim the last canon at Zarkon!" Shiro told Keith.

Keith positioned the canon to get a good hit.

Katie watched and looked at the reflection on her sword. She had an Idea.

She pushed Keith out of the way and took the canon and ran.

"PIDGE COME BACK WITH THAT! PIDGE!!" Shiro screamed as he began to run after her.

"Come on! We gotta help!" Keith yelled.

Katie ran down their hill and onto flatter surface. She placed the canon in the snow. She something out to light it with.

"STOP!" Shiro kept yelling behind her as he kept running to her.

Zarkon was coming close. "Yo you better light it! Light it now!!" Green shouted.

The lion saw Zarkon getting close. "HURRY!!" She said as she stood on the canon.

Katie all of a sudden dropped the match and lost it. "No NO!" Katie said as she began to look for it.
