Unexpected

Outside the jet, a blinding light hit the windows. Not a light, a God. The mighty Thor opened the ramp door and grabbed Loki by the throat, before flying out. The four Avengers are left awestruck, and Tony put on his Iron Man helmet.

"Now there's that guy," he commented. It was really rare, but sometimes Nina got really annoyed by people just after meeting them. This was one of those times. Stark was already getting on her nerves with his smart ass comments.

"Think the guys a friendly?" Steve asked, completely ignoring Stark.

"He is, but Loki's his brother," Nina explained.

"Doesn't matter," Tony told her. "If he frees Loki or kills him, the Tesseract's lost." Nina looked at him incredulously.

"Are you listening to me?" Nina asked. "It's his brother! He's not gonna kill him." However, Tony stepped over to the ramp and prepared to jump.

"Stark, we need a plan of attack!" Steve argued. And he was right. They couldn't just jump out and try to fight two Gods.

"I have a plan," Stark revealed. "Attack." Steve sighed, but jumped right after him with a parachute.

Nina looked down at the fight.

"I'd sit this one out," Natasha told Nina. Nina laughed.

"I don't see how I can," she said.

"These guys come from Legends. They're practically Gods."

"Point taken."

"And then there's the Stark with a high tech iron suit, and Captain America."

"They'll tear each others heads off if I don't," Nina told her before jumping right off the jet.

"Where's the Tesseract?" Thor asked, once he put Loki down. They were on top of a mountain, and Loki's hands were still tied in front of him. Loki laughed.

"I missed you too."

"Do I look to be in a gaming mood?" Thor asked, his voice raging at his brother's reaction.

"Oh, you should thank me. With the Bifrost gone how much dark energy did the Allfather have to muster to conjure you here? Your precious Earth."

Thor dropped his hammer, making the mountain shake. He then proceeded to take Loki by his collar. Although Thor is pissed for what Loki did, family is still family, for a man or for a God.

"I thought you were dead," Thor admitted.

"Did you mourn?" Loki mocked.

" We all did," Thor revealed. "Our father.."

"Your father," Loki cut him. "He did tell you my true parentage, did he not?" At that comment, Thor let go of Loki. How could he think that way?

"We were raised together. We played together. We fought together," Thor reminded him. "Do you remember none of that?" Loki turned around to face Thor.

"I remember a shadow. Living in the shade of your greatness. I remember you tossing me into an abyss. I was and should be king!" Loki screamed.

"So you take the world I love as recompense for your imagined slights," he paused. "No, the Earth is under my protection, Loki." The latter only laughed.

"And you're doing a marvelous job with that," he said sarcasticly. "The humans slaughter each other in droves, while you idly threat. I mean to rule them. And why should I not?"

"You think yourself above them," Thor stated.

"Well.." Loki thought about that girl. The girl had taken the Tesseract with his own hands. She was definetly not a normal human being, if one at all. "Yes," he decided to go with.

"Then you miss the truth of ruling, brother. Throne would suit you ill." Loki's rage boiled again as he shoved Thor away and walked to the edge of the mountain, then turning back to face him.

"I've seen worlds you've never known about! I have grown, Odinson, in my exile! I have seen the true power of the Tesseract, and when I wield it..."

"Who showed you this power? Who controls the would-be-king?"

"I am a king!" Loki yelled.

"Not here! You give up the Tesseract! You give up this poisonous dream! You come home."

"I don't have it. You need the cube to bring me home, but I've sent it off I know not where," Loki lied. Thor opened his hand and Mjölnir flew back into his hand.

"You listen well, brother. I--"

Tony flew right at them and wrestled Thor out of the mountain. Loki blinked.

"I'm listening."
