loving isn't easy: chapter seventeen
Joowon you little—I sit on the couch, knowing why she was here. I was ignoring her for a reason, and she knows that well. Or so I thought.
"Why have you been ignoring me?" The woman spoke, angry and hurt.
"Don't even start Yeonwoo you know why." I scoff.
"I really don't." She chuckles. "Inquire me."
"Stop acting stupid!" I snap.
"I really don't know what I did." She crosses her arms.
The older gets up to leave and I grab her hand pulling her back.
"I confessed and you left me on read, you idiot." I cried. "Do you want me to say it out loud to make me look stupid?"
A tear escapes my eye, and she pulls out her phone, showing me her recent text messages to me. Which I hadn't received because I'd blocked her.
"My phone was broken Nan." She wipes away my tears. "I really like you too."
"Why not love?" I pleaded. "Why don't you love me?"
"I-I don't know."
"Why not?" I shook her hand.
She leans in, placing a kiss on my cheek. She gets up and says a short goodbye, leaving me dumbfounded.
