Nova's pov

Several weeks had passed since Venus had told me that she was immortal and I still had some questions about everything that she told me that day, so I thought I would ask her.  We were at her house watching a some TV show before I began to speak. "Hey Venus, could I ask you something?" I asked her. She turned her head from the screen and looked at me before speaking. "Yeah, what do you want to know?" she asked back. "How old are you exactly?" I asked her, since I was curious to know. "Well Nova, I'm 700 years old." she told me. Damn. "Close your mouth, you don't want flies in there do you?" Venus joked. I closed my mouth only to open it back up again to ask her another question. "Were you born immortal?" I asked her. "Yes, so no I wasn't turned into a supernatural being. I just stopped aging one day and developed special abilities." she told me.

"So are your parents immortal too or is it just you?" I asked her. "Unfortunately my parents aren't immortal so they passed away a long time ago." she said with a saddened undertone. I reached out next to me and held onto Venus's hand to bring her some sort of comfort.  "Is your best friend immortal too?" I asked her. "Yes, she's a vampire." she told me. "Really? How old is she?" I asked her. "She's 500 years old, so she has great control of her bloodlust." she told me. "That's insane, there's just this whole other world out there that not many people know about." I said to her. "So what else would you like to know about me?" Venus asked me. "Why have a car when you can just teleport?" I asked her. She smiled at that question. "I happen to have a love for cars, there's just something about them. I love how there's different designs and needs for cars, I love how some cars are meant to be fast, or for looks, or efficiency, or even just for saving gas. People buy them all for different reasons, but for me it's something I've bonded with a very good friend of mine and "grown up" with in a way. Don't get me wrong I love being able to teleport, but cars will always be one of the things that I'll always love." She told me with this light her eyes as she was talking about something that she truly enjoys.

We were silent then and right now She looked so incredibly breathtaking and all I could think about was kissing her in this moment. "Could I kiss you?" I asked her in a tone just above a whisper. She nodded. I cupped her face with both hands and gently kissed her. Her lips soft and gentle, every kiss from her was a breath of fresh air and I couldn't get enough of it. I lightly nipped on her bottom lip causing her to moan softly. I moved my hand to grab the back of her neck to deepen the kiss even more. I bit Venus's bottom lip once more causing another moan to come out of her mouth, I slipped my tongue inside and explored the inner crevices of her mouth. Both of our tongues fought for dominance before I let her have this one. We continued kissing before we both slowly pulled apart to catch our breath. We were both quiet for a moment with just the sounds of our breathing slowing down. "Can I ask you something Nova?" Venus asked me.

"Of course." I told her. She held my hand and looked into my eyes before she spoke up once more. "Will you do me the honour of being my girlfriend?" she asked me. I smiled at her before speaking. "I would love to be your girlfriend." She pulled me into a gentle kiss and slowly pulled away before resting her forehead against mine, wishing I could live in this moment forever. We were quiet just embracing this moment. It was peaceful and wonderful before Venus spoke once more. "Come with me, I want to show you something." Venus said in a soft, gentle tone. She stood up and held out her hand. I grabbed her hand and had her lead the way. We walked up to a turquoise door before Venus turned the knob. There were about five or six steps down, it was dark inside before the room slowly started lighting up. It was incredible.

When we were both able to see clearly in the room, Nova was able to see that it looked as if we were in space, there was some bars set close to the ground, but to where you could still stand up. "What is this room?" Nova asked me in awe. "It's an anti gravity room. You can change the setting to different planets in the solar system whilst floating around." I told her. She looked around and right now there were just stars around the room, but I could see that she still loved the room. "Would you like to try it out?" I asked her. Nova nodded eagerly. I laughed at her eagerness, but it was cute to see her like this. "Hold on to one of the bars." I told her. She walked over to one of the bars and held on. "Alright, now which part of the solar system would you like to go to?" I asked her. She thought about it for a moment before answering. "Neptune."

She told me. I changed the settings to Neptune with a small surprise for Nova to see before turning off the gravity in the room. "Holy shit, this is so cool!" I heard Nova say.  I laughed at that. "Feel free to let go of the bar, there's other bars to bring you back to the ground when you're ready to stop." I told her. She let go of the bar then and soared around the spacious room. "Come on, I want to show you something." I told Nova. She soared over to me and I grabbed her hand. We settled on the "ground" of Neptune. "Look over there." I told her, pointing to the right. It was dark for a moment when I heard a soft gasp from Nova. "It's incredible." she told me. We were looking at the sunrise for Neptune.

We were just floating by each other's side, watching the sun come up. It was something that I haven't ever gotten tired of. I looked over at Nova, watching her take in the etherealness of the Neptune sunrise. The blue highlighted her skin perfectly that even she looked out of this world. I stared at her features slowly, making sure that I didn't miss one part of her face. She looked over after a bit as if feeling my stare. "You're staring." She said in a quiet tone. "I know." I said back equally quiet. "Why?" she asked in a still quiet tone. "You look as if you're not of this world and I couldn't ever get tired of looking at you for the rest of my life." I told her. She looked away shyly before looking back at me. "I could say the same about you." she said in a soft, affectionate tone of voice. We stayed in the room for a little while longer before leaving the room. I had made us food and the we headed off to sleep to get ready for the next day.

A/N: It's not very long, but I've just been having personal things going on and I haven't been in the mindset to write anything.
