Where they met:

Ruby went on Vacation to Alola to get a new sense of style and some island themed inspiration for his contest spectaculars. So he went to Akala island first. Why? Because Marshtomp and Pulse chose the island.

So Ruby was exploring the Island when he happens to run into a black haired girl who's style was just emulating Alola as a whole. Ruby asked for a moment of her time to talk with him and she agreed.

Moon didn't know what was going on, but whatever it was it sure was fun! This forgein boy was asking her all about life in Alola and about her favorite things then writing them down on a notepad. Then he noticed him to start sketching.

"Hey, uh, whatcha doing?"

The boy looked up and smiled a confident smile. He turned the notepad over to see thst he was sketching out a fashion design onto a pre drawn human figure. Moon was awestruck. A clothing designer wanted to talk to her? No way!

"Woooooah! That's so cool! Who are you?"

Ruby smiled and turned the notebook over, shutting it.

"I'm ruby."

Fluff moment:

Ruby was sewing a new sundress for Moon. She convinced him to stay and travel around with her. It was kind of hard to sew while walking so they were sitting st one of the table set by the cafe in the Pokémon center. Ruby was close.

"Are you done yet Ruby?"

This girl had literally no patience, did she? Ruby sighed and looked up, his hands still working on the dress. Moon was leaning in the table with a wide, energetic smile. Her Pikipek resting on her shoulder and giving Ruby the same look.

"No, but I'm almost there. Just be patient Moon."

Moon pouted and walked away. She probably went to go pester some people inn the Pokémon center or went to order another Moo Moo Milk. Moon was just one of those people who always had to be doing something. It was kinda cute. But annoying at times. Ruby smiled as he held up the dress, looking for any seams he missed. Nope. It was perfect.

"Moon!"

Ruby called over his shoulder. Moon ran up to him faster than he has seen anyone run before and she took the dress from him. She spun around with it in her arms and then hugged it. She giggled and looked over at him with big, excited eyes.

"I love it!"

He was glad she did. It was worth the wait.

Heartbreaking moment:

Moon fell to her knees, tears flooding her eyes. She didn't understand. She thought she was much stronger now. She thought she could do this. She beleived in her Pokemon and she had people believing in her. Was she... was she wrong?

Ruby ran from the stands over to Moon and he hugged her. She started to cry in his shoulder and he glared up at the Trial Captain who was being so mean to his precious cinnamon roll that he called a girlfriend.

"What's wrong with you!? You make fun of someone just because they're a little bit slow to get the point!? How dare you call yourself a Trial Captain!"

Ruby shouted at Mina, who glared at him in response. Let's give some backstory. Moon was trying to do Mina's challenge but she got confused and stumbled around a bit. Mina called her out and said she refuses to let her do the challenge until she gets "a shred of common sense" in her. Thst made Moon cry and Ruby become an overprotective boyfriend.

"I dare call myself a trial captain because I'm strong and smart, two things this girl isnt. She won't even make it past me anyways. Just tell her to give up and leave. I have paintings to make."

That was it. Ruby stood up and got his pokeball in his hand. Moon looked up at him, still sniffling quietly. Mina rose an eyebrow at Ruby as he sent out his partner Pokémon: Swampert. He really has grown since they moved to Alola.

"In my region, we have gym battles to show how strong and smart we are. If you can't beat me, then you aren't as strong and smart as you claim. SO YOU BETTER FIGH ME AND PROVE ME WRONG!!!"

Ruby snarled at Mina. Mina chuckled. Alright, this was really happening. This boy was going to get his ass handed to him. Mina took out her pokeball and looked Ruby dead in the eye. Moon was watching this all from the ground.

"Then I will pummel you do hard you'll regret ever challenging me."

And it begun.

Overview:

This is a hard ship to pull off. I will say that I really don't think that this one would work out as well as others. I found ways to make their personalities fit but I just don't think moon isn't the right one for Ruby. But hey, you guys might like it and I'm sure smollbeanTM did so yeah.
