Where they met:

A battle tournament between all the Elite Four across the regions happen every year. They rotate regions every year as well. This one happened to occur in Unova. Flint was set up against Glacia and won his battle for the day relitivelt early, so he decided to explore the region on his free time.

He heard of a great resteraunt in Striaton City and decided to fly over there to check it out. When he got to the resteraunt he was amazed. He was looking around in awe. He loved Unova! It was so cool! But it wasn't as good as Sinnoh though!

Chili was the one who saw the customer first, so he went to go seat him at a table and show him a menu. He certainly didn't look like he was from here. Pansear followed close behind him with a menu in hand. Chili put on his normal smile.

"Hey! I'm chili and I'm gonna be your Waiter today! Let's get you to a table!"

Flint already liked this guy. He was seated at a table near the edge of the resteraunt but not quite. The little monkey hopped onto the table and handed him the menu. That was adorable! Flint reached out and let the little guy, realizing he was a fire type.

"Woah, is this a fire Type pokemon?"

Flint looked up at the Waiter, who nodded enthusaistically. It was fun when they had forginers because they've never seen Pansage panpour, or Pansear before! Oh, and they don't have food quite as awesome before. He watched the redheaded customer pull out a pokeball. A Pokémon chili didn't know but was flabbergasted at came out. Another fire Type monkey?!

"This is Infernape! He's also a Fire Type Monkey! I'm Flint, the Sinnoh Elite Four member!"

Flint cheered, boasting about himself. Chili went over to Infernape with Pansear. The whole resteraunt had eyes on the Sinnohan Pokemon they had never seen before. Infernape picked up Pansear and cooed to it like a child. Pansear cheered and it was adorable! Chili didn't know why, but he was smiling like an idiot watching it. LIke a proud father or something. Then he turned back to the customer, apparently flint.

"Wait, you're fire Type Elite Four? I'm a fire Type gym leader! You have to teach me everything you know!"

And that started the perfect relationship between two fire Type masters.

Fluff moment:

Chili was with Flint at the Pokemon league since he was still in the torunament. He was kind of surprised he lasted this long without going against Siebold. That or he was knocked out really early by someone else. Oh well. But he was in the final eight and it was going great.

He was just relaxing in the room they gave him with Chili, who had leave from the resteraunt to hang out with Flint. Pansear was having a blast hanging out with all of Flint's other fire type Pokémon. Chili and Flint we're  just lounging on the couch together.

Something had been bothering Chili a lot. Cilan was one hundred percent gay, Cress said he was straight, so what was Chili? He really liked Flint and wouldn't mind being in a relationship with him. But he also had crushes in girls beforehand. And wants about Flint? What was he? He decided to ask while he was still bold.

"Hey Flint? Are you gay?"

Flint flinched so hard he fell off the couch. Wow, that came literally out of nowhere! He just looked at Chili, who had that wistful uncontent look on his face that reminded him of Natsuki from Doki Doki Literature Club. Flint got back on the couch and thought about it. Hmm. Yeah. He was pretty gay.

"Yeah. I guess I am. Why ask?"

Oh, he was gay. That's good. So if he wanted to he could ask him out and not be considered weird. But that doesn't solve the question of what he was. Ah screw it, it doesn't even matter anyways. He can just like boys and girls, whatever it's called.

"Because I wanted to ask you on a date."

Chili got this childish grin full of mischief on his face as he turned to look Flint in the eyes. Flint grew the same kind of smile as he took the smaller framed fire Type Master into his arms. He stood up and lifted him into the air like simba, but facing him instead.

"Then I would accept your date."

And boom. They were boyfriends now.

Heartbreaking moment:

Flint fell to his knees. The finals. The freaking finals! He lost in the final round to Malva, another fire type Master! Can you believe it!? If half her Pokémon didn't haven the frickin flash fire ability he would have won! Chili ran up to Flint and hugged him in the ground right there. He hugged him tight and comforting.

"Don't worth Flint. We'll get them next time! Right?"

Chili was crying. Flint wasn't crying because he accepted his defeat and just was mad about the abilities. But Chili was crying because he lost. And Chili never cries! Not now, not ever! Flint hated it. He took Chili and lifted him up with him as he stood up. He took Chili into a hug.

"Come on, don't cry. There's no need to cry. Sure, I lost. Whatever. It's fine Chili."

Chili sobbed into Flint's chest. He had it! He had it in the bag! Malva just left, silently shipping it. The boyfriends needed a moment to compose themselves. Flint rubbed comforting circles on the smaller male's back.

He lost, but it's okay. He has Chili.
