Another time, another day at a school. Walking down the hallway, seeing everyone crowded in front of the bulletin board.

"Hey, Janet." Paula said, walking beside me.

"Hey, Paula," I said back. "What's going on other there?"

"You didn't hear? There's a new play everyone wants to be in. You should, too."

"What? Oh, no, I will not auditioning for some stupid play."

"It's too late, I already signed you up."

"Paula, what the hell?"

"Remember, Janet, the play is next week. Be there." The cast director said to me, and left before I could say anything back.

"Janet, you don't have to worry, your gonna do fine. By the way, here's the script." She said, handing it to me.

"Paula, I don't like being infront of a lot of people. I have stage fright. I don't even know when auditions are."

"They don't have auditions, they just go with whoever signs up," She said, receiving a sigh from me. "Janet, trust me, you're gonna be great and maybe it would give you the opportunity to get closer to Prince."

"Okay, Paula, I'm doing it. But only because of the 'Prince part'."

"Cool, I'll see ya later, sis."

"Bye, sis." I said, as Paula and I walked away from each other.

"Hey, babe." Prince said, coming up from behind me.

"Hey, Prince. Are you--?"

"Gonna be in the play? Yes, are you?"

"Yeah, we might be on stage together."

"That's great, babe." He said, putting his arm around me. "Babe, you know, I'm coming over to your house after school."

"Why?"

"Because my beautiful girlfriend lives there."

"Thanks, Prince," I blushed, as he kissed my cheek. He was about walk away but stopped to tell me one more thing.

"Oh, and babe? Never call me by my first name. Give me a pet name, okay?"

"Okay, sweetie." I said, as he smiled at me and walked away.

School's now over. I'm at my house, doing my homework, until I heard a doorbell. I got up from my bed, went downstairs, and opened the door. Prince was standing there with a smirk on his face.

"Hey, babe."

"Hey, honey." I said, holding his hand, bringing him to my room.

"Are we the only ones in this house?" He said examining the room.

"Yeah. Michael is at Eddie's house, Latoya is probably out with her friends, and my parents have late jobs."

We got on the bed and sat next to each other.

"Your eyes are gorgeous." Prince said in a sultry voice.

While smiling, I playfully rolled my eyes. "Is that how you get all the ladies?"

"No, I actually mean it. Your eyes are beautiful." He kissed my cheek gently.

"Well, thanks," My cheeks got red. "and your kisses are wonderful."

He smirked, "Really?"

Soon, it got silent. Face to face, we got closer and closer. Before I knew it, we kissed. It was my first true connection with any one. Nothing compares to the feeling.

"Prince! What the hell!?"
