Millie's P.O.V
"It's definitely too early sweetie, but as the days go on, I should be able to tell. From what I know, your ribs are definitely healing but need some more time. Your legs on the other hand are completely healed and ready to get back on your feet into your daily routines and activities." She said.

"That's great" I said hugging her as a 'Thanks'
"Anything my dear child." She said "Even if you're not my child. I really love you, especially as my daughter."
"Come here Cuddle bear" he said as he came in for a hug

He picked me up and I giggled in response.

"It's amazing to know you've found someone Sweetheart." She said
"Well mom, it couldn't have happened without you."
"No, your just saying that."
"He's right Ma'am, you were part of it all."
"Aw, that's so kind, I think I should treat you babies to some ice cream. Get ready." She said before she exited

"I haven't had ice cream in years!"
"Well now's the perfect day to isn't it?"
"Yeah, we should get ready babe."
"I guess your right." He went over and picked out clothes for the two of us

I was given abstract leggings and a black and white printed sweatshirt.
"Is this okay?" He said in the sexiest tone possible. I kissed him on the spot "Yes, It's perfect." I said before I kissed him again.

"I could say the same."

We got ready and headed downstairs. "Mom, are you ready?" He shouted
"Yes honey, I'll be down in a minute! Get in the car!" She shouted from afar.

We hoped in the car and waited for his mother to arrive. She got in the car and we drove to the local ice cream parlor. We got out and the first thing I noticed was a man raging inside a liquor store. I didn't think much about it as we passed it by when we did the man became clearer.

We parked in the empty ice cream parlor lot and headed inside. He must have saw me because he stared as we passed

I froze on the way. "I.. I know..that guy."
"What's wrong babygirl?" Jake said.
He must not have heard me, "It..It's nothing. Will you carry me inside?"
"Yeah babe, anything."

He carried me in silence, we sat down at a table closer to the back

He sat me on his lap and asked "What do you want to get?"
"Hmm, how about a double scoop of Cookie Dough?"
"Sure babe."

The waitress soon headed over towards us

"What would you guys like to order?" She said in a very cheerful tone.

Before I could speak Jake answered for me.

"She would like a double scoop of Cookie Dough and I would like a Hot Fudge Sundae. Would you like anything Mom?"
"Oh no thanks, I'm trying to become healthier than I already am."
"Ok I'll be back in a couple minutes with your orders." She said before she rushed off.

He grabbed my butt and I squeaked in response.

"You're so cute Babe."

The waitress came back earlier than expected and brought our ice cream. "Here you go, this one is for the lovely lady and this is for the handsome man."

She leaned over and whispered in Jake's ear "Y'all are really cute."

"Thanks" he said.

After taking a bit to eat my ice cream, we got up and started heading towards the door, after paying obviously.

"Have a good day!" The same waitress said.

I felt the breeze hit my face then I was ripped away from Jake's arms.

"What the fuck?" I said having no idea what was happening
"Oh so the little shit speaks huh?!" His deep voice said

He kept readjusting a knife on my neck

"Whore, you can't hide from Daddy!!" He yelled

He slammed me to the ground and I started to feel pain in my legs. I looked up to see what was going on, why I felt pain in my legs. I looked away as I saw the knife carving my skin

"Jake.. get.. him off." I whimpered. He heard my quiet voice and did what he could but Jake ended up with a bleeding cut from his arm to his elbow. Fuck!" He screamed

I looked around for Gemini to see her already on the phone dialing 911. The world started fading in and out and Gemini came rushing over to me.

"Hey! Stay with me! I can't loose you! You can't die here!" She said screaming. She tried slapping me to keep me from going unconscious
"Millie! Don't Go! They're almost here!" She said before sirens invaded my hearing

Then the world disappeared
