Chapter 12

Gemini's P.O.V.

They were so cute together, I fell asleep shortly after they had but awoke worrying about them. You'd think, why worry? They're fine. But if he loses her then I'll lose him.

I'm just afraid that's going to happen

Fear is all I'm facing

But it seems like more

Jake's P.O.V.

I woke up with sharp pains running through my entire left arm

"Fuck!" I screamed

Sarah came in immediately

"What's going on?" She said having a bit of worry in her voice
"My arm, there is pain, too much pain"

Millie awoke and sat up immediately

"Babe?! What's wrong?!" She said just wanting answers
"I'm, I'm fine baby just.. just a lot of pain" I said holding my arm
"We should get some supplies and get you in a room to see what's going on." Sarah said
"I guess someone should get Gemini to watch Millie" I said
"Babe, I don't wanna leave your side." She said depressed
"Just until this pain leaves" I said trying not to argue
"Fine but if you come out of there even more fucked up I'm going to commit suicide in this very hospital."
"Babe, that isn't going to happen now stop worrying." I said with a little more rage

Sarah started walking me out and she said something that made me stop

"I absolutely love you Jake Wolf, I'll never be able to express all my feelings." She said starting to tear up
"I love you too cookie dough, now be good." I said playfully

Sarah walked me down a long hall. Along the way my mom came and we let her know about Millie and I.

I was soon in a room, it was quite empty besides a bed and some medical equipment.

"Just sit here. I'm going to X-ray your arm to see if anything can be seen."

I sat down as she pulled an X-Ray machine from what seemed like nowhere.

"Here" she laid something heavy along my chest "Now we should get your chest In the images to see if anything is wrong beyond the arm to cause the pain."

She continued setting things up for a good 20ish minutes

"Ok. Now I am going to take pictures of your arm in multiple spots, so try not to move."

She held down my arm and looked at the images.

She stumbled to get up and ran out of the room

I sat there unattended for ten minutes. She soon returned but wasn't alone. They got me up and brought me to another room

"What am I doing here?" I said worried

"Jake" Sarah said "Stay calm, we've got to do surgery and we can't have you worked up about this."

Millie's P.O.V.

I turned the channel to some old cartoons

"Gemini?" I said worried "Do you know what's taking Jake so long?"
She sighed "No sweetie, I don't. Would you like me to go and ask?" She said hoping to brighten the conversation
"Oh, Please?" I said. She started to walk out "Thank you, Mom."
She stopped and turned around "You're Welcome, Daughter."

I enjoy the silly old cartoons as much as I could but as soon as I looked at the clock, it seemed like only 2 seconds had passed.

"M..Millie?" She said from the doorway
"Yes?" I said as I had repositioned
"Jake had to go.. He had to go into surgery."
"Wait, what happened?" I tried not to sound too upset
"Well, I think when they were going to stich his arm someone dropped something sharp and it's been poking his arm and they had to take it out."

"That sounds horrible! Is he going to be okay?!" I said totally freaking out
"They said he'd be fine and I believe them but I don't think he's going to be able to use his left arm for a while."

She saw me eyes start to tear up

"Come here for a hug"

I hugged her tightly and cried and she did the same

We sat there for a while just crying, together

Jake's P.O.V.

Whatever it was, I'm glad it was gone

I pushed the button on the bed

"Yes? How can I be of service?" The speaker said
"Ask Nurse Sarah To Come Here Immediately"
"Anything else Sir?"
"Send a message."
"I can do that. Who is going to receive the message?"
"Millie, Millie Sprouse."

"I can do that, What would you like the message to say?"
"Hey Babygirl, I'm out of Surgery, and I can hardly feel my arm. I'll head over when I'm better. Love you babe."
"Message sent, anything else?"
"No thanks."

"Ok"

Millie's P.O.V.

"Message From Jake Wolf. Would you like it to be read?"

I broke away from her arms rapidly "Yes" I responded wiping away many tears

"Hey Babygirl, I'm out of Surgery, and I can hardly feel my arm. I'll head over when I'm better. Love you babe." The speaker read "Would you like to send a reply message?"
"Yes."
"Go ahead."
"Hey babe, your Mom's with me, glad to know you're okay. Love you too babe."
"Message sent. Anything Else Ma'am?"
"No thanks."
I looked at her "Isn't it great to know he is okay?"

"Y..yes. but are you okay?" She said partly in panic

"What? What do you mean, of course I'm fine."

She pointed to my forehead

I touched my forehead and panicked an the result.

"Hey! We need a Doc! She's bleeding!" Gemini shouted
