It's been a while since yoongi joined the army, tae was more excited than ever to finally see yoongi back home, everyone was coming out of the plane before entering the airport to see their loved ones and families again, and tae was waiting on yoongi.

But instead, a man walked up to tae and gave him a small paper.
"I'm sorry for your loss." Was all he said before walking away.
tae read the paper telling him that yoongi was presumed dead, due to a disappearance in a raid. tae then goes home broken and crying.

A year later tae is moving out of the old flat and stumbles across a box containing old photos of him and yoongi when they went to Hawaii with some of their closest friends. He starts crying but still smiling thinking of the brown hairs boy, looking back on the memories tae remember the fun times. He was pulled out of the trance when there was a knock at the door, he assumes it's his neighbor jennie, who has been checking on him to help him get over his loss.

"jennie I told you, I'm doing just fi-" he cuts himself off as he looks up to see yoongi, caked with dirt, in his uniform, and tears in his eyes right, in front of him.

"yoongs?" He says quietly, tears falling slowly. tae then practically tackled yoongi in a hug, never wanting to let go.

"I'm home." yoongi whispers as he hugs tae.
tears of joy are streaming down tae's face. he can't seem to form words just yet for how overwhelmed and happy he is that yoongi's back. At this point we're both crying and inside of the apartment completely. yoongi shuts the door with his foot and we finally pull apart.

"You have no idea how much I missed you." tae said, smiling tears still falling down my face.

"I've missed you too." yoongi says wiping away tae's tears.
both boys walked into their lounge where tae was currently packing everything to leave.

"What's all of this?" yoongi asks directing towards the boxes.

"I-I was packing everything to move back in with my parents, with you gone I couldn't stand living in this flat anymore." tae explained.

"Is this the box from hawaii?" yoongi says, he walked over to the box and picked up the picture which was taken on the boat in hawaii of all of us dancing together.

"That was fun." yoongi said, now sitting on the on the sofa as they both went through the box. tae wouldn't be moving now that yoongi was back so packing was nothing to worry about.

"Hey look at this one." yoongi said pulling out an old picture of when we were in america, underneath that picture was a photo of when we went on our first date. most of that day he came back was spent going through the old stuff we had and putting back where is belonged.
