Chapter 1: Goddesses and a Boy

Somewhere far in another plane of existence was a castle radiating red and gold energy seeming to be blessed by the Gods it self and within this castle was a hall with two slender beauties with wings that were nearly invisible.

They were in a library in the castle arranging and re-arranging books from their time period onwards, this was their hobby to pass time organizing books and documents.

"You know I thought after fighting my way slaughtering millions, having ppl worship me as a God then achieving immortality would have been more...exciting than this." The red haired beauty said depressingly.

"You expected to continue slaughtering mighty Goddess Scarlet?" The white hair Goddess mocked.

"Maybe, but I mean, shouldn't it be more exciting? look at what we are doing, We were warlords and prodigies of our times and even have statues and libraries about our history," Scarlet said disappointedly.

She paused stacking a book. "I just don't get why we are doing this Jade"

"Well what else are we going to do? Have a child? should've done that while we were mortals." Jade laughed and threw a few more books at her to stack.

"Mortal....child.....I have an idea." Scarlet waved the books away.

"I'm listening." Jade lifted her head knowing that her friend was about to say something totally absurd.

They weren't always friends, they've once fought for thousands of years to see who was more superior but as time went on they found it pointless, they were both immortal, and their martial arts were the perfect counter for each other; so in the end they gave up and just made a castle for themselves together, they had no ill will with each other at beginning, but as warriors from birth it was just in their nature to fight and see who's superior.

"Let's raise a child!" Scarlet said excitedly.

"Let's do wha?!-" this statement totally caught Jade off guard she expected something more like pranking the other Gods or stealing, but this truly caught her off guard.

"Let me finish, we can take a mortal child, a random one, give him the impression he was some sort of chosen one on a quest to save the world and let's have him try to save it....with some cheats of course."

"Haha that actually sounds interesting, but why a mortal?" Jade asked.

"You want to raise a goat? Could arrange that too if you'd like" Scarlet said sarcastically.

"Thought I was already taking care of one." Jade responded.

Scarlet eyes blazed with fire; if looks could kill she would've annihilated Jade right now.

"I'm joking, I get the idea." Jade smiled calming down the red faced Scarlet.

They both started to talk about what kinda human they'd want, dark hair, poor if not decent background, blue eyes, under 10 years old and someone with an eternal will!

Scarlet flipped her palm revealing a orb.

"We can use this to find one...preferably male and one that speaks English even though language isn't a problem for us at our level but it's for external reasons (wink wink)"

"Well alright let's have a look" Jade agreed

'Buzz!' The orb changed colour and it showed a young boy around the age of 8 by himself in a wooden house surrounding by zinc fences.

"Level 1, he's a kid but he's extremely weak usually children around his age are around level 6, shit I was around level 12 at age 8!" Scarlet gloated.
