Chapter 12: Challenge?

"Maybe allowing them to enter the academy wasn't so boring after all." Scarlet told Jade.

"I didn't expect Haeden to be such a paranoid person, he seems suspicious of a lot of things, he went as far as hiding his strength to remain low profiled." Jade was very pleased with Haedens abilities, she felt as if she had met the perfect student for her.

"I think we should just watch until they need us for something, it would be wasteful for their potential guiding them for every little thing, they wouldn't truly learn." Scarlet suggested.

"Very well." Jade and Scarlet were chatting completely undetected by the cities defense arrays and formations.

In Jaegers room he started to meditate upon what Haeden said, Jaeger had mountains of books and ancient scrolls in his head, if he could just grasp them, they could help him improve tremendously.

"Guess I need to start reading more." Jaeger sat cross legged and started to comprehend the manuals and scrolls in his mind. After a day he heard a knock at his door. Three disciples came to his door with arrogant expression.

"Everyone is talking about this kid like he's some sort of God sent." A curly haired boy chuckled.

"That's right boss, you are the number one genius in Class S!" A youth with a scar over his left eye said.

"Hail Prince Hydra!" The one beside him with a bald head agreed.

"That's future King Hydra to you!" Hydra scolded, he was the boss of this little group, they spent time bullying other class members and were very proud, especially because of Hydra.

Jaeger got up and walked towards the door; when he opened it he saw three smug looking young men, brimming with malicious intent.

"Greetings, You must be my classmates! I am Jaeger!" He said with excitement towards the boys gullibly.

"Ahhh greetings Brother Jaeger, I am Hydra, these two are Damian and Dante, we were just in the courtyard and thought to welcome you." Hydra said this with a calm expression while his lackeys silently chuckled in the back.

Jaeger didn't pay much attention to his lackeys and focused on the calm Hydra, he didn't have much experience with people but he felt something a bit odd about him.

"So let me get to the point brother Jaeger, word is you are the new number one genius, I would love to learn a bit." Hydra touched him shoulder.

"I don't know about that..." Jaeger felt a bit funny about that.

"Come now brother Jaeger don't tell me you're a bit nervous? It's just a friendly sparing match" hydra smiled.

"Well...alright." Jaeger nod.

"Excellent we will begin in an hour at the Academies Meeting Hall!" Hydra eyes glinted.

"I will be there!" Jaeger said with excitement.

The boys walked away and tried to hold in their laughter.

"This kid is toast, brother Hydra is a level 25 but he can make a average level 30 nervous!" Dante boasted.

After some time the news of the new Class S student and Hydra spread throughout the academy.
