Chapter 5: SPAR AND REBIRTH

"Come!" Water King shouted.

"HM, FIRE BEAM!" Beam of flames shot towards water king.

'Poof!' The water king pointed his trident towards the attack and a wall of water blocked it.

"Your power is indeed stronger than your level, but you are still not my match, feel the power of the ocean! TSUNAMI CANNON!" The water formed a giant cannon and fired waves of water towards Jaeger, of course he didn't use his full power because Jaeger was still much weaker than him.

Jaeger drew a curved flame pipe in lightning speed.

'Puff!' Water weakened and reflected to the water king. The water king held his trident and dispersed the water with ease and was a little impressed, but this was nothing to him.
"He child's pla-"

Before he finished talking Jaeger appeared behind him in lightning speed. The distance between them was about 500m, so Jaeger was terrifyingly fast to reach instantly.
'boom' Jaeger landed a kick on water kings' body.

"So fast, impossible!" He flew straight into the water.

Jaeger was very excited with his power and felt confident in dealing with water king. "I didn't think my abilities were this strong, I could battle level 300s."

"Battle level 300s? Don't get too cocky brat! I admit you caught me off guard but that was nothing to me."

'buzz' He disappeared and appeared behind Jaeger, "Your speed is impressive for your level, but your still too weak." Water King left his trident floating above him.

"I'll make this fair for you." He stretched his arm and leg, "It's been a while since I've done battle, feel free to use any ability you have while you still can".
Jaeger was a bit irritated being looked down like this and made some distance between them.

"I'll settle it with this then!" the flames within his body started to erupt and the temperature boiled the water around, "flame of the phoenix king!" Jaeger roared as flames raised from the ocean surrounding the Water king.
"hm, I see your not messing around, very well then, I will receive your attack!"

Crimson red magical circles appeared above water kings head and caught the water king by surprise.

"The is scarlets technique, but its modified a bit" he stared at the circles above him feeling the similarity between him and the hot headed goddess.

"BRIMSTONE!" Jaeger roared and floated in the air looking like a war god.

"This is it, Let the power of the flames, RAIN!", he raised his palms and the sky started to crack as if it was falling, 6 flaming spears descended from the sky and surrounded Jaeger. He waved his wave and pointed towards water king "GO", they departed from him at a godly speed leaving after images.

"marvelous, this is truly outstanding" Water king was just toying around with him, but Jaeger wasn't.
Water king raised water walls to block it, but it was futile, as soon as the spears touched the water it turns it into vapor.
"impossible!" water king was surprised by this and tried to dodge.

'puke' before he could even move, he was pierced by the spears.
'boom' water king flew, miles until he couldn't be seen anymore.

"I did it?" jaeger was surprised by this and felt happy, what surprised him the most was after an attack like that he wasn't tired, he felt he could still fight, doing fire techniques didn't drain him at all, in fact what really does get him tired is moving around defending water king attacks, he looked up and noticed the trident was still hovering in the sky, this left Jaeger puzzled.

"I must say, that attack you did was brilliant" a lazy voice was heard from behind him.

Jaeger felt his heart sank and turned around slowly with a white face like he's seen a ghost.
