“(y/n), wait,” I heard him say quietly. He touched my shoulder, and I stopped walking. My back was still faced towards him. I slowly turned around, and looked at him.

“What?” I said quietly, “What do you want from me?”

“I’m sorry,” He said, “Don’t leave.”

“Sorry doesn’t work anymore Zayn,” I said, “And I need to leave. Everyone knows we all need time apart. There’s too much drama going on.”

“How can I get you to forgive me?” Zayn asked

“I don’t know Zayn,” I said, “I don’t know.”

Zayn said, “You can’t leave though. What if he hurts you?”

“He’s not going to hurt me,” I said, “I’m going Zayn, and no one can stop me. We all need this break.”

“You’re not leaving,” Zayn repeated, “I can’t let you go that easily again.”

“Why are you stubborn?” I asked him, “We’re not together.”

“You’re stubborn too,” Zayn said, “You always want to do something, but when we try to persuade you to not do it, you still do it!”

“Because I know what’s right,” I said, “Can you just let me go?”

Zayn didn’t say anything to me, and I walked away again. I had no idea where I was going, but I needed some fresh air. If I did leave, where would I go for that week? Maybe I could go Spain, Aurelian and I have always wanted to go there. A week stay could be okay with me. I think I’ll call Aurelian when I get home. It would be good if I left for a week, so everything could get settled.

“(y/n)?” Someone called

I looked around to see who called my name. It was Jordan, and I said, “Hey Jordan, how are you?”

“Great,” She said, “How are you?”

“I’ve been better,” I replied

“What are you doing here walking around at this night?” Jordan asked

“I needed to think,” I said, “Why are you walking around?”

“My shift just ended,” Jordan said, “So what’s on your mind?”

“Nothing really,” I said, “I just got married yesterday.”

“Oh,” Jordan said, “Wait aren’t you supposed to be at your honeymoon?”

“Something came up,” I said, “Wanna get something to eat?”

“Sure,” Jordan said, “Where do you want to go?”

“I don’t care,” I said

“How about McDonalds?” Jordan said, “Not fancy, but I want a burger.”

“Sounds nice,” I said, “We walking?”

“I guess so,” Jordan said, “Where’s Danielle and Eleanor?”

“Out with the lads,” I said, “They’re having dinner.”

“And you’re not with them?” Jordan asked

“Something happened,” I said, “So, what have you been up to?”

“Well I got a job at the bridal store,” Jordan said, “But I’m trying to get my dream job.”

“Oh,” I said, “What do you want to be?”

“A wedding planner,” Jordan said, “That kind of stuff.”
