Prologue
“And the winner is…”
My palms were sweating. My knees were shaking. My feet were killing me. The heels I was wearing probably had something to do with it.
I wanted to win this contest so badly. Not only would it help my singing career, but I also might be able to meet some of the most favorite people in the world.
“Jessica Armour!”
Jessica Armour! That’s me! I won! I smiled and ran up the stairs to the stage almost falling on my face twice.
“Congratulations Jessica! You have won a recording contact with Parahome Records, and you will be opening for Carly Rae Jepsen on her first international tour!”
