Aurora || Parker || Kian

"Happy New Year, Parker!"

"Happy new year to you too."

"Did you watch the ball drop? In Times Square?"

"Yeah."

"Oh my god, you're so lucky."

"You're way more excited about it then I am. it was the same as always, not really that interesting."

"Oh....That's a shame, I'd love to see it in person."

"Maybe you will."

"Oh I definitely will. So, what were your resolutions?"

"You know, the basics like getting out of bed on the morning and not contemplating death and actually liking myself and--"

"Parker..."

"It doesn't ever really go away, Rorie...it kind of just dulls."

"I'm sorry."

"Don't be, you've been amazing. What were your resolutions?"

"Okay, well the first was that I need to start working out because I can't even walk up the stairs without getting winded."

"Same."

"Yeah, I also need to start opening up and becoming more social...which is why I let Kian drag me to this crazy New Years Party."

"Hey Aura, who are you taking to?"

"Who's that?"

"Kian, this is Parker. Parker, meet Kian, my best friend."

"Ah, you're the Parker she won't stop talking about."

"Wait, she's been talking about me?"

"Kian!"

"Yeah."

"Good or bad?"

"Give me my phone—-!"

Very good, actually."

"KIAN!! Don't embarrass me, for god's sake..."

"That's okay, Aura. I'll hold onto it. Go get a drink or something."

"I'm 20, I can't drink!"

"Too bad."

"..."

"..."

"Oh...kay so..."

"I just want to say, that if you ever hurt my best friend I'll personally hunt you down and murder you."

"I...have no intentions of ever hurting her."

"Maybe not intentionally, but I knew from the moment she first talked to you, she was pretty attached."

"Really? That's just...wow. I don't know what I did to deserve her, but I can promise you I'm not ever going to leave her."

"I've seen a lot of people let her down, Parker. Just...be the first to prove me wrong."

"Done. I don't know if I'd even be alive without her."

"Really?"

"Yeah."

"Well, then it really is a Happy New Year, isn't it Parker?"

"Yup."

"Okay Kian! I think you've talked enough, give me that!"

"Hey Rorie."

"He didn't scare you off, did he? I told him to leave me alone, but he likes babying me all the time."

"Nah, he seems like he's just protective of you."

"Oh god. What did he say?"

"Just the usual hurt her and you'll die."

"Oh my g-"

"But it's fine, since I wasn't planning on doing so anyway."

"R-right."

"Are you blushing?"

"No! He...he didn't say anything else right?"

"Just that you've been talking about me."

"I...oh god, did he elaborate?!"

"...No, why?"

"Good! I mean, I was just telling him that I liked talking to you."

"She won't shut up about you after your calls. I've already named your children."

Shut up, Kian! Why don't you jump in the pool or something?!

"I've totally named our children already, Kian."

"You've what?!"

"Dammit. I'll pay you 20 bucks to name one Kian."

"20? 20?!"

"How cheap do you think we are?"

"...30?"

"Done."                                                                                                            "Done."

"I'm really sorry to cut our call, Parker, but I have to go."

"That's okay, Rorie."

"I'll call you later!"

"She definitely will. She'll probably be thinking about it for the rest of the party."

"Shut up!!"

"Heh. Bye."
