T H E goddess of wisdom had a lot of responsibility. It was something Sage had figured out as her dreams grew more and more vivid. She knew that the brunette woman had been the one to train Odin's Valkyrie, and that was how she knew the term. She also knew that Sàga wasn't only the goddess of wisdom, but as well as war strategies.

It was all making sense to her now. How she knew what the Valkyrie were, how she could tell what someone was going to do before they even did. She found herself in front of Valk- Brunnhilde's apartment, her journal clutched in her hands, and she knocked thrice.

The drunk woman opened it moments later, smiling when she saw her friend, though it faded when she saw the betrayal on the woman's face, "Why would you lie to me, Brunnhilde?"

Those seven words. Those seven words cut through Brunnhilde like ice. She looked down the hallway before tugging Sage into her apartment, slamming the door loudly.

"Sit down." Brunnhilde was not asking, rather she was demanding. She was going to come clean, she didn't want her mentor to be staring at her with such disappointment.

"I thought you were my friend," Sage whispered. She didn't know why she was so upset at Brunnhilde, she was sure she had a good reason as to why she held the truth, "is this why you always wanted me to stay out of your head?"

Brunnhilde ran a hand down her face as she sat beside Sage— Sàga. The brunette woman felt conflicted, but finally she held out the notebook to her friend, "Everything I wrote, is it true?"

"Yes."

That word wasn't enough for her. Sage felt a headache grow behind her eye, pounding through her skull, "why did you lie?"

"I didn't want to hurt you."

"You hurt me by not telling me," Sage hissed, gripping at the light material of the dress she wore, "you kept who I was a secret, when you know I wanted answers."

"I didn't want to hurt you." Brunnhilde repeated, and slowly she placed her hand over Sàga's. She sighed in relief when the woman didn't brush her away, and she leaned toward her, "You were part of an accident, I didn't want you to relive it."

"It's not fair," Sàga refuted, looking at her Valkyrie with sad eyes, "that you have to see it every day and I'm left in the dark."

Those were the words that made Brunnhilde look away from the woman whom she looked up to. She swallowed thickly before shaking her head. Sàga was right, it wasn't fair to her. She still couldn't bring herself to tell the woman everything.

"I'm afraid if I tell you everything at once that," Brunnhilde paused as she felt Sàga squeeze her hand in reassurance, "that you'll have a mental breakdown."

Sàga was persistent though. She was curious and she wanted to know more about who she was. She knew she was the Goddess of Wisdom, and she knew she was meant to be with the God of Thunder, but at this point, she barely knew more than that.

"You don't have to tell me everything," Sàga remarked, as Brunnhilde looked into her kind eyes, and the goddess smiled slightly, "but at least help me out a little, yeah?"

"Sage looks happy," Hulk commented as the Goddess skipped into her room, her light blue gown flowing behind her.

The brunette smiled as she threw herself at Hulk, the green man barely having a second to think as he caught her, "I'm beginning to figure out who I am, Hulk!"

"Good for Sage!" Sàga didn't have the heart to correct the green man, deeming that to be his special nickname for her right then and there, and she laughed when he spun her around, still holding her tightly in his arms, "Let's dance!"

"Oh heavens, Hulk," Sage giggled as the man stumbled around her room, finally falling back on her bed. She patted his chest as she laughed with her friend, "you certainly have two left feet!"

Hulk held up his legs, looking at his feet in confusion, and he pointed at them, turning Sàga's head so she could look too. He wiggled his toes, "Hulk does not have two left feet!"

Sàga couldn't help but roll her eyes, a teasing grin on her face as she sat up, looking at her friend with a raised brow "Oh silly me, how dare I!"

"That's right, how dare you!" the Hulk laughed, playfully pushing the girl beside him. He didn't mean to push her as hard as he did, and she went rolling off the side of the bed.

She landed on her stomach with a thud. A groan of pain circulated through her room, and she rolled onto her back. A sense of deja vu filled her senses, but she couldn't help but smile at the nervous look on Hulk's face as he peaked from over her bed.

"Is Sage okay?"

Sàga pushed her brown hair out of her face and she let out a giggle, the noise finally allowing the Hulk to relax enough and smile along with his friend. She sat up slowly, her abdomen cringing in pain, but she hid it effortlessly, "I'm absolutely perfect, Hulk."

Sàga couldn't explain the weird feeling in her gut. She felt as if something was going to happen soon, and whether that be good or bad, she had not one clue. She stood on shaking legs before plopping back on her bed. Her eyes darted toward the window which overlooked the large city and she silently prayed to Thor.

Someday she was going to remember everything. Someday she was going to get off of this planet.
She was going to find her old home, her Asgard, and she was going to find her God of Thunder, no matter what it takes to get to him.

She didn't remember him, no, but she knew she loved him dearly, and that was enough for her.
