The Long Way Round

Elizabeth came back with them. Hercules and lafayette were ecstatic to see her and after a quick conversation with philip we quickly got caught up. The actors had come back with them and they were currently discussing where the gates would be.
"aside from places we consider homes, we have no idea where else they could be" Hamilton brought up. They all looked worried. Elizabeth sat in lafayettes lap when she pointed something out.
"what about a death place?" they all considered it.
"what makes you say that?"
"well when you guys found me I was on the brink of death" she explained " instead of how you guys walked through with everyone else"
"it's worth a try!" Hamilton exclaimed.
After a bit of searching and using up a lot of Lin's cash we found the church in which Hamilton was buried. His tombstone was high above everyone else's and was only rivalled with the Schuyler sisters tombstone. Hamilton himself seemed out of it, unable to think that his stone was still intact after so many years of death. I asked him if he was OK.
"I'm just slightly jarred at the prospect of me being dead" he answered truthfully. I can't really relate so I opted for.
"shit happens and besides" he turned and faced me "it happens to everyone"
"yes but I don't think many people get to see there own tombstones"
I nodded "true dat". Lin was losing patients fast and to be honest so we're the others. The graveyard outside the church was creepy and dark and that put all of us on edge. Hamilton touched the stone and slowly his hand began to sink. He quickly pulled away and looked back to us, a sad but happy expression.
"if I don't come back out it was an honour seeing you all again" his eyes darted between Elizabeth and lin "and it was an honor meeting you both". Lin nodded and elizabeth waved goodbye.

Hamilton pushed his way through the portal. We waited 5 minutes before I pushed against the the tombstone. The gate had closed. It had worked.
