Another flight, another state and another dollar. I had no idea why but the flight to Virginia costed lin a pretty penny more then the flight to Carolina but he didn't complained verbally at least. However I could see the annoyance in his facial expressions. Which I could deal with but it was still quite unnerving.
Washington's grave wasn't hard to find. It was in fact the easiest so far. He was the first president so I guess he is extremely important. The problem with different ethnicity is you didn't quite get things the same way a different culture did.
Washington pressed his knuckles to the cold stone but a portal didn't open. "some things wrong" Hercules stated. 'no shit sherlock' I thought to myself.
"there must be another location" lafayette said turning to look at me and Lin who were side-by-side. I wasn't sure where another portal would be located but Lin seemed to have an idea.
Lin took us to the largest statue I had ever seen. That statue standing proud had the old face of George Washington carved into it. Said commander was in shock to say the least
"Washington monument" lin announced.
Once again Washington held his hand to the cold stone but this time a portal opened straight away. They weren't as tearful when Washington was leaving then they were when laurens did but it wasn't quite as abrupt as Hamiltons send off. This was a man that these people fought beside and who they had treated with there lives. There didn't need to be fancy words or tears to know he would be missed.
"next stop Ireland?" lafayette asked. A smile came onto Hercules face.
