tears fall on the page
as she tries to pen her thoughts
nobody wants her in this world
so she writes until her feelings are no longer in knots
she unwinds her feelings
into a single string
of words and phrases
with abundant meaning
she is told they are just words
that they cannot have an impact
but these words have saved her life.
