he built her up from nothing
she was a wreck when they first met
she depended on him to help
now she is forever in his debt.
then he got too greedy
she gave her all but he wanted more
he broke what had been built
now she is crumbling to the floor.
she ended it, and he cried to his friends
about how he had been betrayed
he said he had done nothing
that she had shattered what they had made.
she is all alone now
but she's better than before
she can't bring herself to love someone
who never wanted her.
